I’ve learned a lot since I made this tutorial and I just wanted to update it, but I have so many tutorials going, a pinned comment will have to do. I prefer to do my gauge blocked now, it’s much more accurate.
Thank you so much for this video. I have never had such clearer explanation on gauge as this one. I certainly have a better understanding now. I will bookmark this video for future reference. Thank you for your precious time, patience, and clear explanation. Love all your patterns, they are beautiful.🥰☘️

Your patterns are beautiful & I always understand just what to do because you explain so clearly! I only watch 3-4 crochet channels & you are one of them, My Dear. Thank you & please keep up the Great work!!!
i watched the gauge video, then came back. both videos are really helpful and informative 👍. i have a question ,4 inches is roughly 10 cm could i use that instead?
How this formula works with a different gauge yarn? Ex if it calls for a fingering weight, but I have a 3 gauge yarn. Really appreciated your help. Thanks Ana.
This thing confused me so much and I’m so happy you took your time to explain so well. Thank you so much ❤️ So if I happen to have different stitches in one work, eg double crochet and backloop double crochet will measuring the gauge change?
even easier using metric system (4"=10cm) Taking your figures 12sts div by 10=1.2sts x the width you want in cms. The rows 19 div by 10=1.9rows (you are just moving the decimal point over) by the length you desire in cm and that's it. If you want to convert the cm back to inches divide the results by 2.54cm as that =1"
Hi Jenny, I do have some posts and videos about adjusting patterns using a gauge swatch, I’m working on something more in depth for the future. 😊🙏🏽Look through my channel page and you’ll probably find a few helpful things, with links in the descriptions linking to written versions.
@@KnitcroAddict thank you so much for your prompt reply and will have a look. I really enjoy all your Videos with such clear instructions. I would love to make your “ easy crochet sweater top” but narrower for my daughter who is a U.K. size 8
Hello. If a pattern uses a 4 mm hook but I want to use a 3 or 3.5 mm hook to make spaces between stitches smaller, how would I adjust the pattern? I am making a crochet top but using a 4 mm hook will show too much skin if I wear it. That is why I want to adjust to a smaller hook so the stitches will be closer together showing less skin. Hope you can help me. Thanks

Great site to learn how to make a good fit project. Do you have one of these for baby hat, cardigan for 3 to 6 months and 3 year okd
Does this method also works for patterns with repeated designs
Can you show us how to adjust one or your top and sleeves 🙏
