Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, the Hon. Finance Minister of India, was the chief guest at the launch of bharatvidya.in, (an e-learning platform for Indian history), She delivered an absolutely enlightening address on the occasion, which touched upon many points such as the importance of civilizational heritage, the role and contributions of the Bhandarkar Institute, the need for effective use of digital mediums, and how current efforts can hep revival of the national character.
