It's so nice watching your reactions and that you really like the 13th Doctor. I do too, and sometimes that's making you feel a bit lonely in the World of Doctor Who fandom. This episode is so emotional and beautiful. Still so sad, telling a true story about how it really was. How humanity is making the same mistake, again and again. Thanks for a fantastic reaction 🎉🫶
Agreed. As a big fan of Jodie's Doctor I am so frustrated that her era is so underappreciated. For me it was so refreshing to get away from Moffat's overblown "oncoming storm" approach to Who--that just isn't the Doctor I've known since 1963. While there are certainly a few dodgy episodes, Jodie is such a fantastic actor and the cinematography is beautiful that I can forgive the occasional writing issues. I will confess that I had doubts about casting the Doctor as a woman, I was convinced just in those couple of seconds at the end of Capaldi's regeneration episode. Sadly, I am in a minority.
I love this episode! My reaction was exactly the same. It made me cry in the same way. I think it is the most "beautiful" episode of Doctor Who. I am glad you listened to the music at the end. Most seem to skip it and it is so haunting and exquisite.
The music is massively, massively underrated in the Chibnall era. I get that people really love Murray Gold, but the music in the Thirteenth Doctoe era is amazing. I love the fact that (as we saw in an earlier Capaldi episode) this is an episode where it's not an evil plan. The aliens aren't monsters, theyre doing what we're doing - they're witnesses.
7 episodes ago “I don’t care I won’t like you I liked the Peter doctor I don’t care I won’t like you” I don’t think I like the women doctor, you not the Peter doctor” “ I love her, I love her, she a good doctor I love the Fam” ….. then again didn’t she not say the same for Chris David Matt regens ???
My favorite episode from this season ! A tragedy about an historical event with the Doctor and her fam who can't do anything about it.. For me it's the best historical episode from the show. I also really like the OST in this episode ! The end credit theme is really beautiful ! 😊 Talking about end credit, I wanted to let you know that during the era of the 13th Doctor the "nextime" teaser are at the really end of the credits, so you are not obligated to put a direct stop to the credits after the episode. Oh and in the future you will had two episodes with extra scene during/after the credits, you should tell that to your Patreon sucribers, they will let you know when you need to look at them during the credits ! ^^
Sometimes you say things you want and I really, really want to reply and then I realise it's a spoiler. Suffice to say, sometimes the things you say you want are exactly what you will get.
This episode is the single reason why Whittaker's era is valid. This is a beautifully written masterpiece that anyone can enjoy, unlike the agenda driven drivel we are getting now from Doctor Who.
Hey Nicole.❤ Yeah, Iplayer is great. Loads of Wallace & Gromit this time of year. ...it's a pure historical. Aliens don't influence the events. Edit: Father's day episode 2. I never thought of that.

Ohhh, I love this ep sooo much. It is so wholesome and full of humanity and human emotions.
"We can't have a future with no Yaz!!!"
One of the best episodes of 13s era, bittersweet is definitely the right word to use. I'm glad you're loving 13

Love this episode, like you said humans never seem to learn, hits even harder given the on going genocide in Gaza. 😢
it is the secret highpoint of the season, a season that is a lot better than it is usually acknoledged
The companion is called Yaz, not Jazz! 😊👍
IMBD rating of 6.6 which was the same for Kill the moon. Not sure I would take much notice of IMBD.
