    I agree with most of your choices here. However in my own playthroughs, I've never really found food consumption to be a massive issue. You get tons of food after each non-siege battle. To the point where you're going round with 2000+ days worth of food in your inventory without ever buying it. To that end I would always choose Sweatshops for my main party, too, because faster build rate for siege engines is just a big time saver. Especially when you're racing to resolve a siege while someone else is sieging one of your fiefs at the same time. That could be the difference between keeping your fief or having to siege it back. If you can get back to defend because you were able to take somewhere else faster... that's way more valuable than using less food, in my opinion.

      my only issue is late game, dates, grapes and butter become more rare and I want to keep the full variety. Fish and grain are like candy, you get so many animals to cut up for meat so those are fine

    I'm glad you are still working on Bannerlord 2 this year. Has food consumption been fixed? I hear food consumption used to be the way we level some things up so consuming less food would result in less leveling up. I hope to learn what perks help the character & party leaders as it doesn't always seem clear. How do you test what food other parties have? Thanks :)

    • @Flesson19

      That was an issue but it was fixes about 2 years ago, so feel free to take food reduction perks

    -100% food consumption, sounds like they're starving themselves, to Not starve themselves.. 🤗🤣🤣

    Isn’t tax income almost always more than tariff income? I don’t think I have ever seen tariffs higher than taxes.

    11:58 you can take Mules on a companion quartermaster and then have the other one yourself and kind of get both

      yeah, I love doing that with scouting for forest kin and desert born

    I cannot understand why steward is so important for your main character. There are hardly any relevant personal, clan leader or party leader perks after 100. I would prefer a companion to be the quartermaster. Or am I missing something?

    • @NotTheBomb
      @NotTheBomb 3 месяца назад

      Larger army size is the main reason. As it is also easier for you to level yourself up than your companion typically.

    Do you find that you are running out of food in your party? Or do you value the reduced foot consumption because it reduces consumption of more rare food types (dates, olives, grapes, etc.)? Because I always assumed reduced food consumption was basically worthless due to the fact that I am never running out of grain. But I think you make a good point that it will make your variety foods last longer and that will result in more steward xp.

      I like getting enough for about a year or longer. You never know when youll need it in a long war, also when you enter town as an army, they get to buy consumables first. That is why I mostly buy from villages.

      This is why I switched to food reduction perks. Olives dates cheese and butter and grapes seem to have very limited amounts in my current game. The the player picks hearts gain once all the things are built.

    6:45 taxes are always more than tarifs. Like vastly more. So always take that one for governors

    You mentioned morale affecting troop recruitment, how does that work?

    • @Kaethena
      @Kaethena 7 месяцев назад

      I think he means recruiting troops from prisoners you take. You take a morale hit when you recruit prisoner troops into your army.

    I am a filthy wage picker since I use Improved Garrisons; which I let to train up my armies instead. Then again I only go for Steward 50 for Towns or Steward 75 for Castles.
    Here is an important fact Wage & Food reductions work deceptively: Every point is worth more than the last in a relative setting.
    Lets take garrison wages for example e.g. Drill Sergeant is 5%. But now add the 20% from Stiff Upper Lip -> the 5% now becomes a -6.25%. What about an Imperial Castle, which gives another 20%. Drill Serge is now worth -8.3%. Only do Infantry & got Polearms 175 on the Governor too? Well suddenly it is worth -12.5%.
    So whatever you pick. Go with it and stack it. Do not diversify.
    If you fight lots of army battles, you are right tho, money is a non-issue; then again I ran into some magical several years of "peace" (maybe it was one of those stupid wars nobody fights due to distance and maybe the other enemys had no armies to fight against the kingdom i was in) once which forced me to cull all my garrisons in vanilla since it almost bankrupted me due to wages; since then 100% wages for garrisons.

    Awesome stuff! ty
    Curious if you have any details on Master of Warcraft: -5% food consumption of town population. Is there some math that goes with it? Ex. town consumes 5 grain per day at 3000 prosp; 10 grain per day at 5000 prosp; etc. etc.
    I don't recall seeing it in the town management tab, but I could be mistaken...

      Yes but the issue is keeping the XP from Steward Maxed. If you summon 2-3k troops in the army they eat all the butter cheese grapes and dates so fast.

      With 8 int and 5 focus points the skill cap is like 303 I think. You can really only have the main hero great on one or two attribute trees.
