Moved out in 1967. Always seems like a prosperous, growing town when i visit. If you think SF has a high crime rate visit my stomping grounds of StLouis, LOL.
What happened? Did something happen in your video that I missed? I've lived here since 1984 (born in Platte, SD). The city has grown so much since 1984 and the crime rate has gone right along with that. If you're talking about the weather, it does this every single year, no matter how many people act surprised about the spring-like days followed by more snow before getting to the real springtime of the year.
My grandfather was the city commissioner for Sioux falls in the late 80s. Back then Sioux falls was well known as one of the safest cities in the United States. It is definitely not now. But i grew up in Omaha in the late 80s and Denver in the 90s and I cant even believe how much crime has gone up there. Things are not good anywhere and it goes to show the complexites the world is going through right now. Be safe. And yes, bundle up its cold in Sioux falls. Lol
Y'all I moved to Huron to get away from DC where I was born raised and raised and my 3 boys..no place is like we had it back in the day..we lived in a bubble and it done popped. Peace and Love
Why? Try living in Las Vegas, or Los Angeles or even Omaha! They all suck! You have it made HERE in Sioux Falls! A few from other parts of the world, no problem. Again, move to a large city, traffic and crime will spin your head! Arizona, Utah, Chicago, they all suck! Enjoy this LAST Hope in our Nation and Cherish it. Actually, PROTECT It!!
I liked the video. I have to admit, I was expecting something different based on the title, but I love seeing different parts of the world via these types of clips.
Sioux Falls Reviews:www.niche.com/places-to-live/sioux-falls-minnehaha-sd/reviews/ "Overall a nice place to live. The job market can be harsh a times, and the real estate market isn't recovering the same way as the rest of the nation. Overall I feel safe but there is a very "clicky" element to interacting with others who live in the area if you don't "fit in". "
Thank you so much for watching, like, and subscribing. Thank you for supporting my channel. I appreciate it. I apologize. I didn't expect to see some of these kinds of comments. That's why I like my viewers to comment on my videos; that is not only helping me but other viewers, too. The purpose of this post is only to share some of my thoughts about my hometown, as I describe in the description. Again, thank you for the comments, likes, and subscribing. I took a virtual tour of the state of South Dakota in February 2024. This video is one of the last I will watch as part of that project before moving onto Montana tomorrow. I enjoyed it because it is exactly the kind of video that adds to my experience; I got to see a little slice of every day life in another part of the country that I may not have gotten to see otherwise. The video content didn't quite live up to the title, but it still gets a like and a subscribe from me.
Former graduate of USF formerly Sioux Falls College ; amazed as to the growth of Sioux Falls currently in NJ. Still love Sioux Falls.
