- Hello Hoppers! I never thought I would do a video on How to Find Your Seat on a Plane, but one day, on a flight there were many people holding up the line when boarding because they did not know where their seats were so I got the idea to film this video once I got to my destination. I hope these people watch this video!!!!
But you know, I learned a HUGE lesson. Some of us who travel a lot take plane travel for granted. We assume that everybody knows how the plane is inside and how to find their seat. I am so happy I filmed this video because now I see that not everybody has had the opportunity to go inside a plane. After watching this video first-time flyers feel more confident and at ease when they have to travel by plane and this makes me so very happy!
PLEASE NOTE: I forgot to mention that some planes do not have the letter "I" as it may be confused with the number "1". So the lettering goes HJK. This scheme may clear things up for you. You are facing the FRONT of the plane and the seats are as follows....

When I took my first plane ride I sat in the wrong seat 🤔 the passenger whose seat it was told me to make myself at home in his seat. He was very nice and even showed me how to find my seat for the next plane ride 😃

This really helped me out a lot.. I'm going on a 6 and a half hour flight tomorrow and my mom said I was window seat but when I watched this video, I found out C was aisle seat!!! More excited now that I don't have to bother anyone to get up to use the restroom!! Haha thanks a ton!

+MrCosmo314 yeah, not too many notice this. A viewer also told me that with the lettering on some planes they skip over "i" and go hjk. And he is right because I have sat at "k" seats all the time. Will be on a 19 hours and 30mins flight next month with a layover. Lol this sucks especially flying for the first time. But this enlightened me so much, thank you so much!
Wow, nearly 20 hrs on your first flight. That is a lot. I have several videos for beginner Hoppers. I hope they help. Just make sure you wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Drink lots of water and keep busy or try to sleep. The quicker you adjust to the new time, the time at your destination, the better. Have a great flight. Let me know how it goes!! Hugs

It helps to be sure of where you are going to sit. I'd booked my flight a couple of months ago. I was given a choice of seats. Flying from the Dominican Republic to Philadelphia I will be sitting in an aisle seat. Sitting where I don't have to climb over fellow passengers legs to reach the restroom would be best for me. Then leaving the plane I don't have to wait for them to take down their carry-on bags or stand up to leave. My bag will be under the seat in front of me. I don't like holding others up while taking it down.

I remember my first time flying. Luckily my roommate was with me so she helped me navigate the airport and plane. But I haven’t flown in about 10 years now. So for middle seat is it the same? I don’t remember the diagram for those.
