Very helpful. You can even call driver support to report abusive vulgar customers. I have had situations where the customer starts screaming right after answering the phone when driver calls customer for help as indicated in the FAQs. One customer starts screaming at me over a gate code. Not my fault your apartment complex management requires gate codes. You have the option to leave the gate code when placing the order, yet many customers ignore that box online.
Agreed even on leave at doors you can return to store in this situation you have 2 valid reasons can't get to customer address because of the gate code and refusal of customer to give it and 2 the customer was verbally abusing you. You absolutely don't have to put up with that. Call support immediately when this happens screenshot any texts if any for a follow up email. Report them! They can be kicked from using the platform for doing so!
You are very correct sir you do have a right for arbitration and or suing them. Because even though they can deactivate for any reason at any given time they are still liable for a lawsuit for that so they have to be very careful on account of that. Unless they are a federal government Agency which 99.9% of them are not at that very point a lot of them are not protected from lawsuits or arbitration.

I don't know and returning to store is the right thing to do if you can't contact on an order they're supposed to sign for (hand to me) but since you have the actual reason state what you told me you attempted to contact via call/text going to the door and no response so you returned to store as in app says too. I swear there's no protection on that app bc that was supposed to be a level of protection for us drivers. Thanks for the input!
