@@jamesmiller113 aw man that's awesome, itd make my day if you were running a golf R32 on the lpg.. would probably be the perfect balance between performance and economy without costing an arm and a leg
@@Dreamcee I see guys at the pumps filling up all kinds of awesome metal - old Jags, Range Rovers, anything old with a V8 really... but I'm just packing a 2003 1.8 auto Zafira.... I miss my X300
@@jamesmiller113 The way I've always seen it was like this, an LPG conversion is like solar panels. They're expensive to make the switch, then they pay off overtime. The best way to get those benefits is to let some other poor sucker do the dirty work for you, then leap in when they come to sell.
@@TStreakMLP absolutely, they don't even have that high a resale because of warranty issues and people balking at the extra maintenance involved in the LPG system. To be fair the last year has meant I barely drive enough to justify it, but it's still working just fine after all after having had it all these years! Guess there are lemons out there too
those vw golfs couldn't handle our weather. within a few years of new they were in the scrap yard with all door handles(outside) broken or ripped off and the front seats would snap in 2 when too cold..if you tried to adjust the mirror below -20 they would snap off.to be fair it never gets to -35 for 6-12 weeks straight in germany. to get them started in winter you needed a block heater a pan heater and a battery blanket to get them started.. in the cold?.diesel forget it. we had to install fuel heaters too, as they didn't have glow plugs.
That's actually just VW issues, Germany gets just as cold. German engineering was a brainwashing tactic to convince the consumer to pay more money for German built cars.
