Here are all my best action clips from my 2022 trip out west to film wild horses in North Dakota, Utah and Wyoming. See the stallions as they fight and compete for mares and watch over their bands. You will also see the young colts sparring and honing their fighting skills. Watch these magnificent horses as they live out their lives wild and free. Животные
Beautiful and amazing horses
GREAT video.
Those are some beautiful horses.
Thanks for watching!
I love horses and since I was a 5 y/o I had horses in the yard to play W in my grandpa’s house on the beach❤
@@user-bj6tc8cz4w - I love horses and grew up around them as well.
They are some magnificent animals.
@@karenkingart - You're welcome.
I have a question for you.
I followed your link, did you canvass paint those horses by looking at them?
@@kjam360 Hi jam, I am also a still photographer and I use my own photographs as a reference to my paintings and sculptures. Everything I paint is from my own personal experiences. The same is for my children's books.
So beautiful! Love wild horses and ALL horses! Please protect them zMs Kimg!!❤️🐎❤️🐎❤️🐎🙏🙏
Magnifique, magique, merci pourle partage❤
Years ago I trained with a Lusitano pearl, in Spain he was a dancer I had the greatest time in my life. He would dance sideways and the way they move the legs are so beautiful. Horses are amazing animals, smart, sweet, lovely and wild at the same time. Any kind any bread are especial by themselves. Thanks for the wonderful video.❤
Beautiful site running free
Magnificent ❤
they are very beautiful! I wish this wild horses will be free forever!!🙏❤🐎
Yes, me too!
Absolutely one of the most glorious videos I’ve ever seen❗️
Thank you so much!
Thank you for sharing ❣️
Thanks for watching!
I do love how they are not restraind by bit or bridle, throwing their heads as they run. Gives me goosebumps ❤
There's nothing like it!
As it should be-but soon they may not be there to see.
So beautiful. Scenery is outstanding. And the horses look so happy in that size herd. And NOT the three or four of them like after the roundup. Here they seem to be living their best life. And their weight is so good and their like" all combed out" in manes and tails. So stunning. Nice to see
beautiful horses🇹🇩🐎🖐️
This herd is SO diverse in patterns & colors. Some look spray painted. Make me smile. No words...
Yes, it is a beautiful, healthy herd as are most of the wild horses.
Pure, beautiful, thank you
I❤ horse 🐴🐎🐎🐎,, because my year is horse 🐎🐎😊
Maravilla verlos libres 🙌🏻 Magnífica y tan colorida la banda de THOR, el hermoso 😁. Mucha actividad entre sementales. El video, ESPECTACULAR 👏🏻

This has to be the most profoundly beautiful wild mustang video I've seen, and I'm my 59 years, so I've watched a lot of mustang movies and videos. The photography is unbelievably gorgeous and all the horses look magnificent, strong, healthy and happy running free. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment. Contrary to what many people think, the wild mustangs thrive and survive in the harshest of climates. They are amazing, magnificent creatures with power and beauty. Thanks so much for watching!

WOW! Thank you thank you thank you! Must have taken many long days of hard work to produce this. It is SO inspiring.
Thanks for watching! Yes, it takes many hours out with the horses and even more hours to do the video editing. It's my passion, so it doesn't feel like work. :)

We need all the wild horse advocates we can get! They need our voice to remain free. Wyoming is trying to aggressively zero out the wild horses to make room for more big corporation cattle grazing on our public lands. This herd is closely monitored by the FOAL (Friends of a Legacy) group near Cody Wyoming, but there is a gather plannrd for this year (bait trap) of approximately 20 horses.
There are a lot of "Wealthy People In This World. "Billionaires/Millionaires", That Love Horses with "A Passion", Why can't they get together, Buy Enough Land where "these precious animals" Can Live Together Forever", and Never Having To Worry about Corporate America taking This Land away, Or Ever Having To Worry about Being Bought Out By Anyone???!!! I Know It's Easier Said Than Done, But In My Opinion, It's definitely Not A Wild "far-fetched idea". Where Do We Find the Right Kind of People to Help Us??? Am I "going to far" Feeling this way, I don't believe that I am. Enlightened Me with Your Professional Opinion Please, and What can be done In Your Professional Opinion??
Absolutely stunning video. The horses appear healthy too.
The horse's determination in an animal fight is truly awe-inspiring.
Oh my goodness this is just pure magic the dust is flying the wild ones are running for sheer joy and the boys are showing off doing what they do best it’s just amazing. Did you see any of your favorites(or any that you didn’t get a glimpse of in awhile??)Theres so many different beauties and they’re all so unique I just wish everyone could come together with no more finger pointing or hating to work together to secure a future for wild horses everywhere like what was done for the Salt River mustangs here in AZ where I live(hopefully I’ll get to see them soon)these animals are iconic and they deserve to be treated with respect and dignity like the treasures they are. Thank you for another spectacular video Karen and for taking the time to share it I always look forward to seeing your posts the perfect way to spend my late Friday afternoon stay safe wherever you’re heading next.❤️🤗🐎🌟
Thank you for the wonderful comment. I'm glad you enjoyed it! I hope to get out to see the Salt River horses next winter. Yes, unfortunately there are the haters out there. I won't let that stop me from getting the word out on our beloved wild horses and their fight for freedom.

My two horses are outside 24/7. I feel so bad for the ones locked up in a prison stall for 12 hrs a day.
Absolutely beautiful photography is it a lie that the horses are starving through over grazing and high numbers of mustangs on the land they look really healthy
It's definitely a myth. All the horses I've seen are all healthy and happy except an occasional old horse or nursing mother after winter.
Thank you for you reply ive often thought it was misleading and the goverment land grabbing or farming your work on the video was amazing
@@mishamccarton313yeah a lot of times the BLM(Bureau of Land Management) and livestock industry will scapegoat the wild mustangs saying that the horses are starving or are overpopulated which leads to them being rounded up in favor of the livestock industry so the ranchers can graze their cattle which are the true destroyers of the land as cattle use their tongue when grazing to rip the grass roots and all while wild horses only graze the tops of the grass leaving the roots alone and also since wild horses aren’t able to fully digest the grass seeds they are able to disperse the seeds back into the soil through their manure while cattle are the leading cause of carbon and global greenhouse gas emissions also while cattle move very little and usually stay in one place meaning they consume all the natural plants and grasses in a small area while wild horses on the other hand are very picky and roam more when they eat. Also when finding water cattle tend to enjoy chilling out by water sources while horses are respectful to the surrounding ecosystem as instead of causing erosion and scaring away wildlife diversity(like cattle do) the wild horses tend to drink and move on leaving very minimal impact on the surrounding stream habitats. Also while there are more than 727,000 heads of cattle there are only around 16,300- 27,000 federally protected wild mustangs and Burros 🫏 also while cattle gets to graze 155 million acres of the 245 million acres of public land. The wild horses and burros are restricted to only 27 million acres of public land(shared with cattle). Aside from that I hope you have an amazing day ❤🐴🙌🏻.

Just Wow!!! Superb composition, color and focus…and out of this world gift of an encounters for Mother Nature!! This will be my favorite video for some time, I’m sure!!
Thank you Kat! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. The wild horse is truly amazing!
Fabulous! Those were some of the largest bands I've seen together, you really know where to be to capture the drama!
Thank you!
Nice shot, may I know what device /model you captured this video? Thank you.
I used several different cameras, my Nikon D-500, cell phone and JVC video cameras.
Beautiful video ty. Proving horses are better without humans interfering, horses just being horses.
I laugh at the comments here. If this herd of horses was owned by a guy named Dave Johnson and he had them running loose like this on some empty land on his property you'd all have a fit about the studs fighting, the mares getting bred every year, no supplemental feed, vet or farrier care, no shelter or water tanks, the horses being impossible to catch or handle. You'd call the authorities and demand something be done about the neglect.
But tack the word "wild" in front of the word "horses" and it suddenly becomes marvelous and beautiful, leave them be.
That chestnut pinto stallion with the solid head, neck, and chest shield is an absolute tank. ❤

Most likely bachelor stallions playing/practicing. Actual fighting stallions for herd domination is pretty violent.

I just discovered your videos and have subscribed. Your cinematography is stunningly beautiful. Thank you!
Are they protected, or are they free to catch ❓
Lovely galloping scenes. I wish they could continue living free, and I wish that people could see the dark side of the horse industry, of which mustangs are a part. There's always money in horses because of their grace and beauty, from photography to racing, to every kind of performance horse - down to those sent for slaughter from the US to Canada and MX, to send meat to the EU --- or worse, those that are sent live in boxes on planes from Canada to Japan to become a special kind of sushi. It's an extremely cruel procedure, and you can bet that wild horses in Canada end up there.
I don't like the fact that people focus on "action" shots, which boils down to horses under stress. We need to see horses just living their lives, peacefully as grazing animals do. You've got this type of action shot, and then there are other action shots, like performance horses straining every nerve and every muscle to win something for their riders, and it's not a healthy way to look at horses. As a result, that's all people want to see. Horses with eyes distended, nostrils flared, veins standing out, angry, furious, or killing themselves to win a race. Then you get photographers deliberately startling horses or upsetting them to get "action" shots.
Mustangs and all horses do more than fight with each other.
Also starting at 13:27 is that Traveler ?? I’m really trying to learn the different horses names and who they are as I love getting to know them even if it’s not in person. Do you think you could for future videos add in the names and/or band names of individuals and different groups as you see them if you know who they are?? Sire/dam info would be great as well if you have it but of course this is only if you have the time to add in these things as I know depending on video length it can take awhile to go through the footage so whatever you come up with is awesome thank you 💜💜
Yes, this is Traveler. He is the only buckskin tobiano on the range. I'm still learning all the names. There are many other wild horse advocates who know the names and sire/dam. Check out Tony Douzenis on RUclips and Facebook. He is an amazing photographer and lives nearby the McCullough herd and checks on the horses weekly. He knows most of the names.
@@karenkingart Well then that makes him even more special now;all right I’ll do that thank you 😊👍💖💖

Mustangs, originally "mesteños" and after "mustango", name given to these horses in Spain since century XIII., and introduced in the actual territory of the USA in the century XVI by the Spaniards.. es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mustang_(caballo)
I have seen some mobs of brumbies (Australian wild horses,) and after some time, they get so inbred they barely look like horses. They have manes and tails so long, shaggy on the ground, and being Nature, that is how they stay. You see, each mob has a lead stallion who kicks out all other males, and as such, his serves his daughters, his grand daughters, and every young female who is of breed able age. That means that for about ten years or so, all the foals are sired by him, or as many as he can. When he can not fend off the younger rivals, there is a new cycle. A really inbred wild horse, mostly, is not a thing of beauty. Still, if you folks like to fanaticize over wild horses, go for it. I have heard that if a brumby is broken to bridle and saddle,, they will bolt back to the hills as soon as they can.
I suppose every herd is not the same depending on location. A herd needs at least 150 horses to be viable and be sure there is no inbreeding. Here in this wild horse herd I have observed the horses extensively. The stallions somehow know not to breed their daughters. The largest band I've seen is under 15 mares, and the stallions have a hard time keeping them from being stolen from younger stallions, so there is no worry of only one stallion doing all the breeding. It is nature at its best, protecting the herd. I'm sorry if the Brumbies of Australia don't seem to be beautiful. Maybe one day I can come to see for myself and document what is happening.
@@karenkingart Dear Karen, 'The stallions somehow know not to breed their daughters', I better not say that made me smile. They are animals, and to say such, is wishful thinking. Still, I see that many of the videos show fairly good types of horses that are running wild. I worked on a cattle station for too many early years. Best luck, USA cousin.
