I don't know how long you've had Amethyst but she is absolutely REGAL after some time macerating. The most fierce, royal, jammy rose I ever did smell!! 💜🌹

I respect the effort and the dedication to science 😂. With Casablanca I get: crisp apple, lots of caramel, a thick suede and a woody base. It’s pretty loud. Soooo glad you are getting a true representation of the profile. ❤
Thank you for the reminder about being mindful about where we purchase fragrances! I've had many fragrance "blind buy fails" and wonder if any of those were due to counterfit perfumes. I too have Lattafa Shahd and love it!! In my opinion its such a hidden gem. Its inspired by Narciso Rodriguez Ambree and gives warm, tropical yellow florals with a touch of soap on my skin (in the best way possible). I only bought her this winter but have a feeling she's really going to shine in the spring and early summer.

The Shaghaf Oud that i purchased via Amazon was NOTHINGGGGGG compared to what i smelled in Casablanca Morocco and in Dubai. Let's stick to the brands website. Thanks for making this known. I just got Shahd for Christmas and I'm letting it macerate for a few weeks and now my initial sniff wasn't but l know I need 2 let it sit. Casablanca is EVERYTHING! I get powdery and I LOVE powder scents. I have had several ladirs follow me around stores and parties about that fragrance IT IS BEAST MODE and last long on skin and definitely on clothes. Honestly I had 2 let her macerate for about a week for her to hit beast mode. I notice when l get the fragrances from stores like Marshall's, TJ Maxx and Burlingtons l do not have to let them macerate but honestly I can just spray and get the notes. I have gotten 3 duds from Amazon but you have to pay attention to the sellers.
Great haul! I have and love Amethyst, but in my humble opinion, it’s not a dupe for Atomic Rose. It actually doesn’t smell like it at all. I believe that Amethyst is a Lattafa stand alone. If you want fragrances that smell really close to Atomic Rose, try Infini Rose by Maison Alhambra or Rose Explosion by Fa Paris (Fragrance World subsidiary). They smell really really close to Atomic Rose and are very long lasting with beautiful silage too. All three are beautiful but if you want something almost identical to Atomic Rose, try either of the 2 I mentioned. Atomic rose had absolutely no oud and doesn’t smell as if there’s any in it either. It’s also brighter, and reminds me of the Delina fragrance family. Thanks for sharing your beautiful haul with us. Stay beautiful 😍!
😳Wow, you can certainly see the differences between the Casablanca bottles. There’s also the Extrait version “Essence of Casablanca” maybe that one might work better. Lol w/ the BR540…your sister like NOPE that ain’t it (my boyfriend the same way😆), but I think Orientica is good as well. Lastly, Tobacco 01 is quite lovely…don’t be scared it leans more on the sweeter side, unisex-sweet & on the wishlist🫣😄

I've heard a few creators say that the Orientica fragrance is the closest dupe for BR540 so at least you got the best one even though your sister doesn't agree. 😂 I too am curious about Tobacco 01. Very tempted to get it.

My Casablanca smelled like water when I first got it. I was like you, I couldn't smell anything. It sat for two months. All of a sudden it was my strongest scent i have.
I had my first bottle for a little over six months and have not had much movement innocent… The second one is like night and day! But for science, I am keeping them both lol 😂 💜💜
You know what I examined the bottle and the only difference was the bottom that I showed, but you might be right. You may be able to see something that I don’t. 💜💜💜

Sis, it could be difference in batches... Listen, i got two Vanilla Toffees... Both directly from Swiss Arabian because i have no sense 🤣 One is... Different. But I can see why some might enjoy it. The other is a hot, burnt mess that I can't stand.... Both from the brand. Make it make sense

Oh wow, that's madness! Are the production dates the same? My first one was directly from the brand on release, the second from a reseller later. Both mine smell exactly the same.
@sharfalor4244 both of mine came directly from Swiss Arabian. I ended up with two because the first one got delivered to the wrong house. By the time they had sent me another, the person that they had delivered the first to had brought the package to my home. I just checked the batch codes and dates. They're exactly the same 🤷🏾♀️. So i can't even blame it on bad batch
