Coach Javier Mendez is an avid Instagrammer, who has quite the following, so he is always capturing fun videos of his journeys to share on his iPhone. We are grateful for Coach Javier sharing this content with us and, asked him if it would be ok to put it together in one long segment. This is where you get to see the real behind the scenes, of the Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev Journey to UFC 242. There are the fancy embedded clips, and then there are the journalists trying to film something, But no one quite captures what it is like for these two amazing fighters, better than their coach. You get to see them leave California and get the Royal treatment in Dubai from the Prince. Then it is training and weight cutting, along with a few fun characters you will meet along the way. Coach shares a fun and interesting journey, no hype no push just how things really happened. While having fun with some of his favorite fighters. Both Fighters did amazing on their fights at UFC 242, Islam won by unanimous decision, and Khabib retained the lightweight belt with a submission over Dustin Poirier. This is the film about what happened before that.

one of my biggest dream to meet with habib and his entire crew . They are all so humble and down 2 earth . They do not talk shit / trash taking, dnt diss any other UFC fighter even they speak highly of Cornor including Coach Javier . i do not know in my life if i will be able to see them as i live in Pakistan. i pray to GOD please please full-fill my dream :). i really respect the coach, and ali they do things with and for the clients that most coaches and managers would never do, the coach travels to khabib homeland, and visits, even though he doesn't need to, and Ali workouts, and hangs with them. much Luv!!
