I've never heard of this venue in St. Louis. Was this The Pageant where Chevelle opened for them? If so, i was there, too, lol. Sevendust has always been a top band for me, only second to Tool. Granted, i was only 18 at this time and Sevendust was one of the starts to my concert experience. I also seen them at eother Lollapalooza 97 or Ozzfest 98 at what was then Riverport. I will be checking out your Snot show from 97 or 98. They were playing as we walked through the gates. James Lynn Straight died not too long after. For those who don't know. Sevendust's song "Angel's Son" is a tribute to James
No, this was at the Side Door, you literally had to be walked through a restaurant with people dining to get into the venue. Tiny place, I don't recall the capacity but no more than a few hundred. Sevendust opened for Snot. Most everyone was there for Snot but Sevendust absolutely smashed the place. Great times.
Nice My girlfriend was working security there that night. Do you have any old The Urge footage from back in the day? The Urge was such a great band. I went to high school with Todd, their slide trombone player...
Nice! No Urge…we only filmed them at Vintage Vinyl but that tape is lost somehow. We have Trail of the Dead, Jesus Lizard and Stanford Prison Experiment on here from the Side Door
@@LepersTV So awesome!! The Side Door was crazy tight in there. And Sevendust had enough energy for a stadium!! I look forward to everything you post!! Thank you so much
22 minute mark that me 17 years old up front.
This video is priceless. Early Sevendust shows are as crazy as it gets. Thanks for uploading!
Love this. I'm from STL and i've seen Sevendust the far majority of times they've been to town but not this one. So good!
i can watch Morgan Rose play all day haha👊💪
We use to jam there around the same time, Vinyl. St. Louis original music back in the day.
