LOVED THIS!!
Ted McKeever!! My fave!
(Transit came first, and he finished that final issue 20 years later.)
I think Splat! was a title from Mad Dog? Vic Blood by Harlan Ellison/Richard Corben. Some Jan Dtrnad/Dennis Fujitake stuff.
Marvel forced the color on him for Metropol. He didn’t want it. Also didn't want the SFX in the sequel.
Was introduced to McKeever through Pollack's Doom Patrol, he was the perfect fit for the scripts that she was writing. Good run that's worth seeking out
Agree its much under rated run.. ..
I fuckin LOVE Ted McKeever from back then. Plastic Forks was the first thing I picked up from him and then right into Metropol which is still one of my top picks. Really great episode fellas, new subscriber but loving the channel so far.
The A1 strip that Gibbons wrote is well worth a look for a really interesting take on Superman - he's not named, but there's no doubt who it is. Of course, the art is lovely.
The Extremist was his next comic, after Metropol. He also did a beautiful story in Epic's Hellraiser comic, issue one.
Never read Eddy Current. It looks great. I'll have to track that down. TM also did a couple of nice issues for Batman LOTDK. And he did a story for one of my favorite contemporary authors, Thomas Ligotti. It was "Dr. Locrian's Asylum" in Volume I of The Nightmare Factory. Thanks. Great channel! Have you done Kaluta's Shadow yet?
Love McKeever's work. Also: I'm getting some really weird video suggestions in the sidebar here.
Thanks for posting!

Chris Bachalo is another one who can be seen progressing, in Shade the Changing Man.
