The fit and finish on these boats are insane. I’ve been around a few walleye and bass versions and they cut absolutely no corners. They are incredibly well made, but you will pay for the quality. They remind me of the build quality of the Legends.
That is great to hear Mark. We've had some people comment about some fit and finish problems with them but maybe that was an isolated problem with a couple.
Good to hear. I have a lund gl with smooth moves seats and am looking to get into a dvx. But... I have an injury that is aggravated by rough boat slaps. I read someone saying that the dvx slapped hard. Dont see why it would tho. U hit any chop? Hrm. Maybe heavier batteries would soften the ride over lithiums?
@@considertheopposite1456 I’m sure the dvx is smoother than the vx which is a bass bait but we were in some bad chop snd it seemed to cut through it quite nice and those seats are by far the best. My only complaint is it seemed to have some side to side slop but that’s probably from going 70+ in rough chop.
While I agree the vexus is nice, $65k for a 19' boat? I'd take a 20' skeeter, yarcraft or 20.5' alumacraft for $45k with a 250. For $45k I can fish the same waters and get there faster. I know because I own one and I came from glass.
At the cost of all these “high end” boats, the difference between the 300 and the 400 is insignificant to the over payment that will need to be made. Bottom line, I love to fish but $120,000 is to god d_m much money. PERIOD, end of discussion. I’ll repower my ‘04 621 when every it’s needed. Love the content Andy.
Andy, that up there with Ranger's version of a deep V. Could you also do the Skeeter deep V, WX 2060? Question, have you heard of any of the professional bass guys change out their trolling motors for longer shafts models for Detriot River/ Erie, Lake Champlain?
Traded my 619fs on a dvx 19. It rides better, it handles better and it loads so much easier. I really liked my Ranger but my dvx is much nicer. There were a couple of fit and finish issues but vexus fixed them right away and even paid to store it for the winter so I wouldn't have to tow it home in the snow. I wish it was a little longer but other than that, love the boat. Get above the 19 and the prices go crazy, but they all do. Now we just need to get this dang ice off the water!
I just built one and it was 130k ish. Kind of waiting for the 22s. And that new 400 verado has me leary. Maybe fish out of my Wx1910 for a few more years. Great vidya!
Love the channel!! Awesome information…. Out of curiosity, since I own an AVX2080. Have you heard a quality issue with Vexus. I’ve got nothing but great things to say about the quality, craftsmanship, fit and finish. For an aluminum rig. Unbelievable ride. We’ve been running fingenrlakes and Great Lakes without issue. And their post sale customer service…2nd to none (from my personal experience)I think they make a quality product. Thoughts? Thanks. Rich
I was super pumped when looking at the seating, the cushion ride that it supposedly has and i figured it would help my spinal condition. When i found out the price i about shit my pants! But hey i think the boat had a porta toilet in one of those compartments? 🥴🥴🥴
i fished out of a dvx 20 last summer up in door county. Smallmouth fished most of the day in 2-3' waves. rode and fished very good in the chop but so should any deep v glass boat. I don't think they're over priced but if you can afford one I'd get one but i think you can do the same things in other less expensive boats.
Can you do the double Hull Fiberglass boat out of Louisiana? Progator boats. From what I understand, they make a good, strong boat. Apparently, these boats come with a 10 year stump warranty against stump damage.
I've been running the Yammi 150 SHO for the past 6 years. Awesome Engine. I've never needed maintenance other than the typical oil changes. It's on a 18'6" ranger reata, fully loaded with a kicker motor and full live well I get 42mph wide open. Before I added my kicker motor and only me in the boat I could get 48mph out of it. But I love that the engine is reliable and really has just been a performer.
The issue with the 22 is its a tournament setup rig. I'd love to have one to charter, but I need the open floor plan, and jump seats in the back. Oh, and 50 grand less 🤣. But their quality is what ranger used to be. Not to mention the quality of life improvements and attention to detail.
I agree 100% . I always fish 4 people in the boat. After you wedge the 2 rear seats between the storage compartments there is just no room in the back of your 22' boat. I would like to see those side compartments removeable. Or a 23' boat with a open floor plan. That extra foot can be used for storage across the back of the boat just in front of the live well.
Off topic but anyone here how the old Merc Black Max 150's hold up, lookin at a used 21 ft deep V Sylvan w/ the Max on it, thanks Its old but in budget, cheers

Reasonable price, but not for my wallet. LOL
Over priced. I like the look of your employee behind you. He gave the look, what the heck. Can you do one on Yar-Craft.
In comparison to the high end bass boats it is under. Still a pile of cash. I might be able to afford a2021 one in 20 years.

Got a 2020 dvx20 in 2021 built similar for less way less $ its one bad ass boat for sure. Great vid, keep em coming.
