As it’s an after market air filter , there will be warranty issues. I would suggest you replace to the stock air filter whenever you give the bike for service . Problem solved. I also don’t recommend giving the bike for service with the BMC air filter on , as the stock air filter is cleaned using high pressure air , if the same is done on the BMC it will get damaged .
You will get to buy cleaning kits from BMC and K&N. You can wash it yourself or get it washed from a mechanic you know . Do not clean it with petrol or using air pressure.
