When I first started kicking, I hurt my knees, hip joints, and back.
As I get used to it, I feel that the pain has gone away.
If you feel pain after working on it, take a good rest... and when the pain disappeared, I worked on it again.
Also, I think it would be better to train your trunk before you take the kick seriously.
