I cannot believe I'm the first one here to comment. Equally astonished that at the view count. For those of you who are not aware, Eric is in many respects the architect behind the modern supercar. In 1963 he designed the world's first high displacement mid engined GT sports car, the Lola GT Mk 6. This car was the inspiration behind the legendary Ford GT40. In literally under a decade the very face of sports car racing would be changed forever. The say that imitation is sweetest form of flattery. Well it's a wonder Eric could show his face, what with all the blushing he must have done. Not to be out done after Ford, Ferrari and Porsche had capitalized on his design he went on to create some of the most competitive race cars the world had ever seen. The beautiful T70 comes to mind. If you haven't had the opportunity, check out the Lola GT Mk 6 on Jay Leno's Garage RUclips channel. Cheers and God speed Eric.

Saw the Zerex Mk.6GT Chevy at Sebring 1964.
Teething problems kept it from shinning
But one could see the new Ford GT-40 in it...
    The Future!
