It's time for another archetype video, and I decided to do the judge this week because we are amid a legal season.
Now, when we think about the judge archetype, and I mean the archetype, what comes to mind within the Western world is the iconic story of Solomon - because that story represents the pinnacle of the judge and the capacity to separate from the two people involved in an issue and ascend to a level of wisdom.
Judgment is the capacity to see clearly and recognize we'll never know all the details; we'll never know all the facts. We can only work with what's in front of us to the best of our ability. We can disassociate from details that are not significant and use a higher order of discernment in making a decision.
Any archetypal pattern is a completely impersonal pattern. But we all have an active element of the judge in us and battle judge mentalism. And we all have to make judgments. So I offer you the teaching of judgment and discernment as a way of realizing you have the choice not to fall prey to being a victim or to be caught in the duality of I've got to win or lose. There could be a third way or other options. Maybe, there's the way of Solomon.

I had a mystical experience 3 years ago that was so beautiful and it permanently affected my psyche. I had an excellent rehab counselor that when my family story & personal case defied explaination - broke down and said my life was like the book of Job! He knew that could have got him fired, but was just the ticket to further my growth process!!! It’s an awesome story, but not a fun one to get to live for real…. Love you Caroline for these tidbits!💫

Actually, It is comprehensible, and can be explained… and I have a basic model to explain it… though without your words Caroline, I wouldn’t have been able to piece it together…
When you are a victim, you need to know that you are a victim so that you can get out of the situation. There's no need to blame (shame) victims for "taking" a powerless stance, as if they chose to be victims. People who are victimized often ARE less powerful (children, employees, etc). If you are victimized, the strongest position you can take is to recognize that you are victimized. If you don't do that, you will fail to assign responsibility appropriately and take it upon yourself, which only weakens you. In this world, there are perpetrators and they have targets (victims). This is a fact. Caroline, you make it sound as if the victim is the criminal.
I have often thought, this time frame we are in was ultimately going to bring about the end of the expression of duality. Duality has proven what it needed to and is no longer necessary. Its just a feeling
