1:28 - the guy jumping off the sign wasnt actually a cheering moment. when it was on the news, the guy actually held up traffic and there was a person who missed the birth of children, weddings, medical emergencies etc. everyone berated him as an idiot for holding up traffic for a back flip because it wasnt a short amount of time.

In all fairness the way that rod was bowed and he asked them to "take the rod first" I'm pretty sure he was hooked up to something big that had towed him out off shore. He damn sure did not paddle that far. I kayak fish in the ocean near shore and it's still terror inducing to hook up a big fish and have it start to tow you out. I got dragged 2 miles out by a 4 foot Blacktip shark once and even though it was one of the biggest fish I have ever caught I still thought about cutting the line as he was taking me out. That clown does not realize how lucky he was someone found him before the North Atlantic current did. That being said as a fisherman I still respect his commitment, it's a hell of alot more than I have.

As a fellow Florida man, I understand how one would get in that situation. He is relaxing in the inflatable unicorn by the beach casually fishing, shark grabs the line, decides he wants to catch it, gets dragged by the shark 2 miles off the coastline. Should he have gotten out of the tube and stood on the beach before he got dragged that far out? For sure. Is that the Florida man way? Not at all.

My favorite part of this video was the lightning bugs in the field. I miss them so much! As a child we had so much fun trying to catch them and put them in mason jars with lids we poked holes into.
Now, here in Florida where I live, the city sprays to kill mosquitoes and that's when the fireflies went away, too. 😢
