One of my friend who had legal documents (citizen) in Italy, called me 4/5 months back but I advised him that Italy also one of few good economies. So do not take risk as there is no guarantee of asylum will be granted. But he refused to talk to me. He came with family and now a common friend told me that he is going through very hard time and say that I was right.
