I was there, have great recall of a great show / performance, and still amazed nearly 50 years later from a lifelong Yes fan. Thank you for sharing this !!!
Yeah, like the Ancient from the same concert - faster, and some high energy even in the sweet ballady bits. I get the feeling that it's not just adrenalin, but (it's about halfway through the tour) that they are pushing hard through the whole of TFTO, bearing in mind that it was still new for so much of the audience. Structurally not very different from the album - the bass solo (before the drum solo) goes on for its full length, as some of it was pulled for the vinyl release, and the drum solo is different, lacking the big, measured timpani outro that certainly came back in some form to later live performances.
I think it would be really cool if they or someone would make the 4 sides into 2 to 3 in length. Take all the fluff and just plain boring parts out and make one brilliant 2-1/2 sided album!! And all you haters of this idea, you Know Exactly what I'm talking about...🤔

GLORIOSOS,ILUMINADOS!!!OM OM SHANTI!!!🙏🎼🎸🌈🥁🌴
Wow this sounds amazing.
I had this show on vinyl back in the 80s. It was called "The Affirmatives". Didn't sound quite this good..
Simple wonderful
I was at this concert, and to this day (except when I saw them open up for Black Sabbath) it was one of the best concerts I've ever seen.
I can't even imagine seeing those 2 lineups on the same Bill.
@@barrypeirson3710 Which date was when they opened up for Black Sabbath? I was also at the 2/18/1974 show.
It was during the Fragile tour 1972 they opened for Sabbath
siiiiick, it's actually a decent recording 🙌
Masterpiece 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
SENSACIONAL ♥️

Agree with all that - thanks for the astute observations
Do you like Squire here or on the more refined versions?
It's the greatest album of all time IMO.

There is no unneeded fluff (as you call it) unless you don't really like it in the first place.
One man's unneeded fluff is another man's needed fluff. 😂
Just ask Wakeman😂
Audio pessimo
