The fact that she knows designers' names, who they're friends with, what their job titles are and can clearly identify every part of all the dresses she wore really speaks to her years of experience. I bet if she could sew, she'd be a major fashion brand by now.

Anna Azarisu i think naomi has all the skills you listed, which is why they specified that if she could sew, she would have a successful brand. no one said that it doesn’t also take those skills to succeed, but it’s obvious that especially back in the day to really have a good understanding of designing and fashion you should be able to design and sew something yourself. i think kanye does know how to sew to a certain extent but regardless naomi clearly has all the capabilities to become a serious fashion designer but i think she simply prefers to be the model it’s a whole different experience. you’re the one in the spotlight being pampered etc.
the way she speaks so highly of these designers and remembers the intricacies of all her dresses shows that she actually cares about fashion. The standard that all models should strive to be, for sure!

this is a model who actually WORKED. she modelled the clothes for the designer, and did what the designer wanted, rather than make it about herself like the models of today
