Altec Bucket truck PTO system trouble shooting

This video is to show you about a problem I have with my Altec TA35 model bucket truck. So far I have not fixed the problem. I will post another video after I talk to Altec and figure out if the PTO system it self went bad. My truck is a 1999 Ford F450 7.3 Diesel engine

What can cause a PTO to not come on? See on the dash that the PTO is on but it doesn't do anything. I feel like it could be the solenoid valve near the pump

I spent a couple thousand dollars before I found out it was a burn wire on the harness, i changed the solenoid a few times, removed the PTO a couple times too nothing worked. I called Altec tech support and nothing till I decided to change the harness

Hola Pablo e estado buscando informacion porque tengo un ford f550 eti37h del 2008 y estoy teniendo problemas con el pto en ocasiones activa y en otras no hoy precisamente trabajo unnas hora intermitentemente hasta que se desactivo y no activo mas alguan ayuda

We have a 2011 altec 75 foot elevator forsety bucket truck. It is ran by pto My question for you is the PTO has about 8000 hours on it. The truck has about 87000 miles. Do you think that's high hours for pto Thank you. You think we're gonna have to replace it soon?

Tengo un bucket truck con un sistema similar y es propio de esos sistemas que solo trabajen en neutro y parking pero el truck que tenemos es utilizado para instalar cable de fibra óptica. Una persona me dijo que había un truco para hacer que el sistema funcione en cambio (Drive) ya que el truck debe moverse mientras se instala la fibra. Me podría decir si sabe cual es ese truco para engañar el sistema.

Did you get it fixed im having the same problem wit a 95 chevy with the same setup

I did get it fix, it was indeed the solenoid. I end up swapping the solenoid and the switch just to make sure . Are you burning the fuses as well or just stopped working

Hope you fixed your truck, I have an issue with my altec 235 bucket truck. It's too slow and can get it to idle up.. any suggestions? Thanks
