Hong Kong cinema in the 80s and 90s were the best martial arts movies. Cynthia is awesome. Without her, we wouldn't have Sonya Blade from Mortal Kombat. Michelle Yeoh is still great. Seen her in movies with Jackie Chan and other starts.
@THE FIGHT TEAM - This movie was dubbed into Cantonese. Also, you have take into consideration that if CGI was available during the Golden Era of Hong Kong Cinema, 9 times out of 10 or more…the directors would NEVER use CGI, because they would never have the Hollywood budget/funds to be able to afford using such expensive equipment or tech like CGI.
It was dubbed. They didn't do live sound in Hong Kong at the time. Cynthia Rothrock doesn't speak any Cantonese or Mandarin and Michelle Yeoh didn't speak a lick of either at the time. So they were both dubbed over. In fact, much as we like CTHD, Chinese viewers nitpick Yeoh's accent.
Trust me Hong Kong cinema in the 80s, 90 percent of those stunts were real ! watch cythias interview, the amount of bones she broke lol. You had to suck it up back in those days.
It’s funny that the dude talks about knowing Cinthia, Roth Roth, so well yeah doesn’t understand that she does her own stunts just as much as Michele Read our 1:31

Dick Wei is a great villain, played in many films. Same with Chung Fat also, very skilled

Cynthia actually did her own stunts.
Almost all. There are a few spots you can see it's a stuntman doing the moves.
Cause I know I wasn’t tripping
fun fact cynthia didn't know the language so she just talked and they edited it
