    Really appreciate the translation. Your English is as good as any British person. I'm struggling to land off a kicker into blind and I've been blaming it on not turning my head enough but maybe I'm not attacking it with enough speed. Great advice. Thank you for your English out put.

      Make sure that you pull the handle active to your body right before any blind landing. That’s one of the most important things! Good luck! 🏄🏻‍♂️🤙

    man this was pretty good, I'm struggling with the physics of doing an ollie to blind (ollie back 180) simply because I don't have the strenght to pull the handle to me. I guess I shouldn't do it behind the cable but with a little outside curve like was approaching a kicker?

  • @sneeuwzekerbe
    @sneeuwzekerbe 3 года назад +1

    Great tutorial, great English. One more question: if you take a slow approach, with strong pull on the rope, wouldn't that result in a longer flight curve? You can let the carrier pull you up in the air, no?

    • @WakeboomerTV
      @WakeboomerTV  3 года назад +1

      Thanks for your feedback! :-)
      You mean a short but aggressive approach? If yes, of course thats another way to create more pull and tension and it´s another way to change the flightcurve. The way I discribed in the video is just one way, but there are lots of more ways to go for the kicker and a lots of ways to change the flight-curve and the pull. It also depends on how far and in which direction the kicker has it´s position on the water.
      With all that things you have to find the right "balance" for different tricks. :-)

    Hey Markus thank you for the great video! Many of us ride cable but don’t really understand what’s going on with the cable and why it reacts a certain way during different speeds and angles. So learning the physics is so important and your English is really good. When I’m learning the air raley and watching people do air tricks on different speeds and on different parts of the cable, I also wonder what the physics are... And maybe that’s why air tricks are so hard for many people like me because we don’t comprehend what’s really happening. (Rope/line tension, water tension, and why posture and proper technique is so important), Since we are talking about kicker, what approach is ideal for whirlybird? I’m scared to try it.

    • @WakeboomerTV
      @WakeboomerTV  4 года назад +1

      Hey thanks for the great feedback! 🙂
      I‘m sorry, but the whirlybird is definitely not one of my favorite tricks, so I don’t think that my advices for this trick would be a great help... 😅😀

    Thank you for this Video! I understand everything you said but I would like to ask you another question: so I‘m riding Wakeboard behind a boat and let‘s say the wave is the kicker, are the physics the same as you riding on a kicker in a cablepark? Surely you van answer in germen if it‘s easier!!

    • @WakeboomerTV
      @WakeboomerTV  4 года назад

      Thanks for your feedback! 👍🙂
      Honestly I’m not an expert for riding behind a boot... I would say there are some points where the physics are pretty similar, but especially because of the fact that the cable is whipping and moving while the rider is doing any trick-stuff, there are some differences. Also the direction of the rope and the pull are different behind a boat. So, sorry that I can‘t help you more like that! 😅🙂
