Ford has always gotta make shit difficult for us lol. I'm a mechanical/electrical engineer and I still knew I needed to watch a video on how to get to these damn actuators. Fantastic video though, definitely adding your channel to the list of trusted information 👍

Good video explaining it except when I'm go to replace both actuators because if one went bad it's only a matter of time before the other one goes bad. Save yourself the hassle of tearing it apart again. Other thing is i'm going to use 3/8-1/2 impact wrenchs to get the seat bolts out. Less time and faster then racheting them all out

Hi Alan. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I had the same problem in my 2004 Explorer. The sound became constant. I could no longer find a spot that it would stop. I had to do the dirty deed. I am handy but had trepidation about this fix. After seeing your video it convinced me i could do it. This video is spot on and i followed every step to the T. It went well. Hardest part is that seat belt bolt. PB blaster for a couple days before i Started. I did both actuators. 3-31/2 hours taking my time. I am lucky enough to have a heated garage. It's running perfect. Again Thanks for this great Video.

It makes me thrilled to know the video helped you repair your vehicle. Without a doubt, this is neither the most pleasing nor the worst project if you have access to decent tools and a good place to work. Thank you for watching.

I have that clicking sound and I am just adjusting the temp dial so it stops... but I hardly ever run it anyway... that's way too much work for something I almost never run.
