Thank you for this. Trying to diagnose a leak, was able to diy all disassembly up to this point. All hoses were fine. When I saw evidence of moisture soaked into the damper, I was stuck at removing this grommet and almost gave up. This video saved me the hassle of making a callout. Turns out the grommet WAS the root cause, as it was split. THANK YOU
Good video but you don't have to remove the hose with the clamp. Just remove the grommet pull the pump back away from the housing install new grommet on pump and insert the grommet attached to pump into housing.
