BNSF - Gallup Sub 7 October 2022 morning

Railfanning the Gallup Sub this October 4th , 2022 morning. Rail traffic came to a halt due to a sinkhole on Main #1 (North track) west of this rail crossing at West Defiance, NM after Amtrak #4 rolled past that location and confirmed. The rain storms have been a blessing, but also wreck infrastructure. I was happy to see Conductor Estevan Montoya Jr. working his charge to Albuquerque today. I have to say it was a good day.
