    *UPDATE* - NZXT will now be offering an extended five year warranty on the single-frame fans instead of two!

    It is a disappointment that they not designed the panels with the additional dust filters as it was in previous version. I was not sure about this since now and I need to cancel my order and buy a 2022 version istead.

    • @jordanash
      @jordanash  2 месяца назад

      As I said in the video they seem to go for performance now. It does make temps a lot lower so I think needing a little more cleaning is worth the exchange.

      @@jordanash I saw a direct comparison between these two cases and the differences between them in terms of heat and loudness are very low, almost identical (but the 2024 was tested without bottom fans). I have a similar designed case right now (the full mesh front without additional filter) and unfortunately you need to clean it quite often. If the differences are not that significant the lack of additional protection is not a benefit at all. It should be optional at least.

    • @jordanash
      @jordanash  2 месяца назад

      I think the 2022 model has different fans, which could also make a difference. Ideally, you need to test the same case with and without filters to see how it changes. I might make a video to be fair, I'd like to see.

      @@godzinillaI would guess that the direct airflow fans on the gpu for the 2024 would drop temps significantly. This is especially beneficial as the GPU is typically the hottest component in the pc. The lack of dust filters is bothersome, but is easily remedied by purchasing custom magnetic filters as people have done with the H6 flow. For the cost though, the 2024 h7 flow should’ve included removable dust filters.

    You read my mind. I was just about to recommend this new case for a review. It's a missed opportunity for NZXT not using 3X140 fans front, 3x140 under the VGA for the best possible cooling performance. The 3 fan frame with a single header is a smart idea. We'll see if Montech did better with the similar dual chamber HSO1 at half price and beats the H6 Flow.

      I've had it since the announcement, just couldn't publish anything till now. Yeah it's a bit odd they didn't do a 420mm single frame now you mention it. I sent a message to them so hopefully I'll hear back.

    According to OC3D the front fans are NOT the same as the F360 you can by separately (the fans that come with the case are apparently only 3pin ), so who to belive?

    • @jordanash
      @jordanash  2 месяца назад

      It's a 3-pin variant but the rest is the same. I will get verification on why this is as soon as I can, I expect as cheaper and in volume that makes a difference.

    Hi, thanks for another great overview. So it looks like temps are still better in the H6. I'm one day away from ordering all my parts but I'm still stuck on MB and Case. I really wanted the temps to be lower on this one as it looks easier to for the arctics cooler fit in over the H6... from what I've read you can get it in depending on the MB. I do like the H6 but I want an easy first build.
    What case do you prefer regardless of temps?
    Have you any recommendation on MB for AM5 with PCIE 5.
    Is it worth wating until Prime day?
    Thanks again!

    • @jordanash
      @jordanash  2 месяца назад

      I really like the H6 personally. What Arctic cooler are you looking to fit, the LCIII thicker ones? I wouldn't wait, from what I saw from Prime Day last year, they just put the prices up to bring that back to the normal prices, making it *look* like a deal.

    • @modwolves_live
      @modwolves_live 2 месяца назад

      @@jordanash Thanks for the reply... Yeah I'd love to get the LCIII thicc boy, but I've seen so many people have issues fitting it. I've went ahead and ordered everything except cooler and MB... I got the H6, but I think it was always going that way!
      You channel has been very helpful for me so far!

    Could you measure front panel without fan bracket, if there is possibility to mount dual 180mm fans? With drilling, but would it fit?

    • @jordanash
      @jordanash  2 месяца назад

      So the width is 180mm, *but* that's edge to edge. It's right at on the side at the left, then the right has the angled section behind, but with the extra frame on the fan it wouldn't fit anyway.

    • @vlad_8011
      @vlad_8011 2 месяца назад

      @@jordanash Thanks for measuring this.. I think i'll skip this case. I was moaning NZXT for 2 weeks, yet they havent added this feature. Maybe they will release v2, but they also forced me to create account on some of their forums or creator... something to report the idea.

  • @AquilaeYT
    @AquilaeYT Месяц назад

    I've heard that the front panel is too close from the front fans and cause obvious fan turbulences, can you maybe confirm that if you have tested that ?
    I've had the H7 Original and i've had zero fan turbulences because the front panel was having enough space to not be direct in front the fans.

    • @jordanash

      @@jordanash Ok thank you, that's weird because some people's say the opposite, Dimitri from Hardware Cannucks recently said the same thing about case that have the front panel too close from fans.
      What RPM range did you test actually ?

    • @jordanash
      @jordanash  Месяц назад

      1600 for thermals, I use that in every case so the testing is constant when comparing temp. I mentioned that in the video.

      @jordanash at that price, they still can include one to give the option to the people that care. Stop making excuses for these companies.

    • @jordanash
      @jordanash  29 дней назад

      Just giving a opinion. It all adds cost cost though, it might not be as simple just including it. They sell vertical mounts anyway (which might look nicer) so that's probably why they didn't include one.
