Yet again - great content! For me a good guideline is: "The only person you should compare yourself to, is the 'you' of yesterday." I think an interesting book for you could be James Carse with "Finite and infinite games".
A follow-up question, maybe for another video: How does not reaching your desires or „failing“ fit into this mindset? I sometimes feel like its hard to balance „redefining your desires/goals“ and „giving up“ on something.
I really like your channel man. I love your style, and your variety. I know you're a new channel, but I am really curious, can you tell us what your equipment set up is? Your camera, tripod, lighting, editing software etc.? I'm hoping to start a RUclips channel myself soon and I think the way you've hit the ground running is really inspiiring.
Thank you! I can give you a short wrap-up as a comment here. There are way better videographers explaining everything you need to know on RUclips. Camera: Lumix G70 Lens: Lumix G 20 mm F/1.7 Tripod: Doesn't matter, it's a $5 one Lighting: $20 softbox with a bedsheet over it, 2x $20 dimmable lights used for video calls with a blue sheet in front, they sit behind me to give the blue outline of my body. Lights are positioned in a 3-point Rembrandt style (search for it on YT) Mic: Tbone SC 440 Editing Software: Final Cut Pro + sometimes Adobe Photoshop
Got confused here. The quote is in Viktor Frankl‘s book, but he does indeed quote Nietzsche, so you are correct! I just recently read „I am dynamite“, a biography of Nietzsche and there the quote is found in the end section as well :)
Underrated video, this should be pushed to the public more, especially for those depressed
I love the subtle effects you use with your on-screen visuals. Great work; keep it up!

Have not heard of the book, noted! Thank you!
Very timely video!
Frohes Neues und weiter so :)
Keep going, awesome content.
You are putting out some amazing videos. Thanks for the great content. I'm looking forward to seeing your channel grow. Keep up the great work.
Thank you ❤️
Great content!
Great video. I’d love to see more content related to the human action and Mises in general. Cheers from Colombia!!

Suffer!
then move on...
Having realised one's own limitations set realistic goals henceforth.

Desire is part of human nature, can't be eliminated but can be controlled!!!
That's a nice way to put it :)
"He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how" -- that's Nietzsche, not Viktor Frankle.

If only Putin's entourage was made up of the likes of Epictetus
