I’m glad she sang the same song. She sang it at the beginning because she had a dream, and people doubted and put her down, trying to tear her dream down. Despite the haters she worked towards it and reached it. She made it to the finals of btg!!!! Her singing the song is meaningful and it’s probably very sentimental for her to sing it in the finals, because she dreamed a dream, and it came true.

I watched her very first audition, then ended up in the hospital fighting for my life against cancer. I never heard the fact that she did not win until your comment. I loved her then and love her now. I agree, Susan Boyle should have won.
Since that time and now my cancer may be back, but decided to do a biopsy, but my heart went into A-Fib, so they had to quit. I had only been under five minutes.I am now on meds for that.No biopsy. During a scan my thyroid lit up like a Christmas tree that I had to take some radioactive pill for and will be on meds the rest of my life. On August 14th I am having a needle biopsy being done to get a sample of area that has everyone upset. I have figured out that I must stop going to see doctor's because they make me sick! Listening to Susan Boyle sing and to see what she has to put up in real life keeps me going. She is my heroine. Spiritman Productions did an amazing job with this video and deserves a loud applause from everyone. BRAVO!

I love Susan and listen to this video every night. I don't know how you can judge different talents at the same time. It's like apples and oranges. They should have all singers compete, all dancers, all animal acts, and so forth.
I didn’t follow BGT hence I don’t know who won or even who Diversity, as I have seen mentioned here, is. But I have certainly heard, read and watched Susan’s performances. Someone commented here that she may not have won the competition but she won the world. I absolutely agree! You are blessed with way more than what you started out to achieve. She didn't sing it as well as her original audition, but she must have been exhausted and overwhelmed by then, and everyone has a less-than-perfect day occasionally. She still has an incredible voice, undergirded by technique and good training and hard work. This time she didn't cover the break on the major rise as well as before, but boy did she pour her heart into the performance.

I didn’t follow BGT hence I don’t know who won or even who Diversity, as I have seen mentioned here, is. But I have certainly heard, read and watched Susan’s performances. Someone commented here that she may not have won the competition but she won the world. I absolutely agree! You are blessed with way more than what you started out to achieve. She didn't sing it as well as her original audition, but she must have been exhausted and overwhelmed by then, and everyone has a less-than-perfect day occasionally. She still has an incredible voice, undergirded by technique and good training and hard work. This time she didn't cover the break on the major rise as well as before, but boy did she pour her heart into the performance.
Simple music can make you sing simple hug can make you feel better simple things can make you happy, i hope my simple Hello brings smile to your face,,,,

Reading the lyrics, the song is much more depressing than the way Susan B sang it on her first audition. It was so uplifting, with her smiles, and made you want to cheer. Hmm, think I will just sing it my way with a bunch of made-up words in place of the real ones.
