What do you think? Would your cats be jazzed over the independent movement of the Cheerble Wicked Ball or do you think this ball is better-suited to your canine friends? Let us know in the comments!
No, I don’t think Stella or Gatsby would like it, they are very aloof they won’t really play with toys, maybe midnight might play with it once but would most likely ignore it after he investigated it. But I think my little girl (dog) Bella would love it!
thank you for being honest about their enjoyment of the toy. not all cats will like all kinds of toys / toys in general. that doesnt deter me from the video, review or item at all. thanks for the content!
So glad I watched this review before I made a purchase. My cat is so hit or miss with toys its almost impossible trting to pick toys out for her. I think I was more excited about this than she might be. I'm glad you showed it on carpet too BC that's what I have in my apartment; it was definitely a concern of mine how it would react. Thanks for the honest review
My friends dog is going to love it he already has 100 toys but his best one was the one that moved he loves chasing a moving toy can't wait to send it his way.
Thanks for the review. I saw this on IG and thought it may be a fun toy for my cats. But what's fun for me, may not be fun for them. It's also not cheap, so I don't want to spend the money if no one wants to play with it. I was also surprised at how big it is, and think a smaller one would be better.
This was a GREAT review. I have the attention span of a gnat, so reading instructions are not s skill I have. This RUclips video was PURRFECT. My cats would be like your cats. They like things for about a day, then they are done with the tory(s). Thank you for this awesome review. 🧡
Great & Honest review. My cat loves a toy I made. I fastened 5 neon zipties together. I throw the toy down the hallway and she brings it back like a dog. My cat plays fetch better than 90% of dogs I've seen.
Seems a little too big and slow for cats. If you have hardwood floors or an open, tiled area, a single ping pong ball will give them a small, bouncy thing to chase and bat around.
I got the pastel blue ice cream ball. We have 3 cats, one Russian Blue named Sophie, and 2 Maine Coon cats, named Portia and Pearl. Sophie is gregarious, inquisitive, and always want to play. She absolutely loves this ball. I was surprised that this ice cream ball isn't programmed to roll. Except for jumping around, it more or less stays in the same 10 - 15 foot area. On a carpet, even a thin low pile area rug, its motion is severely subdued. It needs a hard surface. We have a 6 ft cardboard box in a tunnel shape, and when you throw the ball in , it works great, with a loud rattling noise. Portia is intrigued, and joins Sophie in play, while Pearl, who is the aggressive mouse killer, is actually frightened a bit, and watches aloof from a distance. I wish this ball rolled around like the Wicked ball, but I can't justify buying a 2nd ball for the price. However, I am interested in the Cheerble Board Game, but I want to see some reviews. The Cheerble website is actually very uninformative about their toys. Thanks for your almost 10 minutes of review!!
My daughter just ordered one, she bought one for every pet in the family in fact... were homeless now because of the high cost of these items... but at least the Great Dane is happy.
Hmm my cat really doesn't like to play much with toys. He might get interested for a few minutes and usually will walk away like your cats did. Thanks for sharing.
Very good review! Liked that you showed how the ball moves around and mentioned that it could be a hazard if bumped into in the stairs. Have you considered reviewing the ripple rug for your cats?
I got an RC car and wanted my cat to play with it, so I took it apart and snuggled a lanyard then put it back together so he could chase the lanyard and it worked. Maybe try putting a yarn / string in it when screwing it back together.
I watched the Wicked Ball video and was surprised to see it marketed for "pets" rather than "dogs" ... your cats' reaction is exactly what mine would be, as this ball is far too large for a cat to pick up in its mouth. Even in the manufacturer's video, most cat interaction with the ball is very short, and much of it involves kittens. Major size issues aside, I haven't yet seen an "independently moving" toy with movement likely to appeal to cats. Everything is (1) too large, (2) too slow, (3) too repetitive, and (4) too likely to actually approach the cat and behave "aggressively" (which, you can generally see in a cat's reaction, moves it from "prey" to "not sure what this is, but it's not prey").
What an interesting cat toy. Perhaps if you attached some feathers with some rubber bands or pipe cleaners, it might entice older cats to play with it. Just a thought.
Thanks very much for this review! I checked out the manufacturer's site and it looks like they've added two other sizes, one for cats (about 1" diameter) and one for smaller dogs; so maybe they saw your review and acted on it?
I used to think my cats would like this kind of balls and I bought a cheaper bigger one....and they only looked at it go. I think they would like the wicked ball better, being smaller, but I'm not going to spend $50 on that having my previous experience. I'll spend them on other cat stuff lol
great review thank you. Though....hazardous for plp walking and stepping on it? if you are blind or impaired in some serious way, yes, but other than that.....maybe its just me, but I do pay attention to my surroundings do you not? how can I step on it without seeing it? it is like your cat sleeping on the steps and you stepping on it without realizing and killing it........
It’s a cool toy indeed just not good for larger breeds. I purchased one after seeing all of the online reviews. My Golden Retriever destroyed the outer shell the first evening we had the toy. The toy cost $49.00; each additional shell costs $10.00. Also the center silicone ring on the shell joining the two halves detaches easily from the epoxy the Chinese use, this is a manufacturer’s defect and needs to be corrected because it makes the toy a potential choking hazard. I have written directly to the company and am waiting to hear back from them. I hope they correct the problem because the toy has great potential but I will not let my dog near it until they take it back to R&D and quality control and correct all issues. This is NOT a $5.00 toy and it should have lasted more than one evening!
Loving your channel. Discovered you about three weeks ago. I have four kitties......Lola,Sophie,Baxter and Myer. Please excuse me,but I have a bit of a crush on you. You are a total cutie!
Yikes, sorry to hear that the video was disappointing. I went into more details on the mechanics in the written review, so you might find that more helpful: allaboutcats.com/cheerble-wicked-ball-review

your cat like catnip ?
I think you look amazing in each and every of these videos 😘🥰

Don't know if you know now, but they have two smaller balls for cats specifically, The Cheerble ball and ice cream ball.
7:18 I felt that. Lol
loved that bit haha
@@krystalpickering618 Sigh of disdain and despair. 😆
Came here to make the same comment. Really felt that one lol
Adding myself to the empathy vibes here. Mallory just seems to have the most blasé, nonchalant cats of all RUclips 😄
I love your reviews. Your voice is so easy to listen to and you speak so clear and concise. Additionally your cats are hysterical. Thank you.
thank you for being honest about their enjoyment of the toy. not all cats will like all kinds of toys / toys in general. that doesnt deter me from the video, review or item at all. thanks for the content!
What a honest and realistic review! Thanks for sharing this. 😻😻😻
Doesn’t your cat realize that you’re a cat toy reviewer?

I really felt that long sigh lol. ohhh silly kitties and their silly particular preferences

I have never met a cat that was into cool design but many that likes the end of a usb-cable.

There are smaller versions and I have seen cats go crazy for it so

I'm gonna view all of your next videos till one of your cats show some appreciation for a toy! Love the information and the channel!
I betcha you're going to be here for a while! :) Thank you for the support.
Thinking about getting this for my puppy but the cats reactions were so funny 😂
My daughter just ordered one, she bought one for every pet in the family in fact... were homeless now because of the high cost of these items... but at least the Great Dane is happy.
Really enjoying your videos! Looking forward to more! 🥰
Your videos are awesome please carry on
Will do! Thanks!
They have a smaller version for cats and the Wicked Ball is only marketed for dogs now. I'll give the new one a try.
great review. cheers

Hey Nanna, thanks for the feedback. We haven't considered the Ripple Rug yet, but I'll add it to the list of potential products for review. Thank you!

So a $2 laser toy from a discount shop is the best option?
Ever try tying a feather or something to it?
How could Forrest play when the orange cat is dominating it
Wow they remade self rolling Ferret Ball from 20 years ago and added a vibrator mode
Your cats are like my cat.
My cat only likes to chase the prey, so I have to run around our one room apartment like a mad man 😅
This toy is like a lesser version of the Ralthy Interactive Robotic Cat Toy on Amazon.
This is a really good review video though. Great job!
Cat have the right personality if they are dogs, they will play with everything, all day long
Another con is that is very hard to find if lost
Thanks for not showing how much noise it makes and what it sounds like on different floors.

As long as the wicked ball doesn't bounce on me in the middle of the night, we'll be fine.😂😂
I like your carpet.

Hi there. I agree that it's a bit risky to have this toy rolling around independently.
Do your kitties like interactive prey toys like feathers on sticks?
Not anymore! Wessie did as a kitten, but otherwise, the answer is no. Both of them love soft catnip-stuffed toys like Kitty Kick Stix, though!
Make video of kitten treats

My kitten loves Nerf Rival balls. Not rubber bouncy balls or anything similar.
WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS IN SYRIA
Loving your channel. Discovered you about three weeks ago. I have four kitties......Lola,Sophie,Baxter and Myer.

SJ.. I'm sorry sir, you will have wait at the end of the line 😄
This is really a cool toy, but my 2 cats would do the same.. Nice house ! M..where can we buy those shirts ?
Awesome job cutie
I watched this video to see how it worked but the video didn't even show how the ball works. waste of time
Yikes, sorry to hear that the video was disappointing. I went into more details on the mechanics in the written review, so you might find that more helpful: allaboutcats.com/cheerble-wicked-ball-review
That’s the big one for dogs lol
I think it’s too aggressive for cats 🐈 just my opinion
my left ear is disappointed
my cats would be bored with this toy! also too big.
Ur cute ☺️
Cat 1 best thing ever made.
Cat 2 worst thing ever made.
Cat 1 worst thing ever made.
Cat 2 best thing ever made.
Cat 1 and 2 that ball? Never liked it.
I got one… worked about 5 times.. junk
