    A remarkable insight into the amount of work that goes into preparing fossil specimens. It certainly is a colossal crinoid specimen!

    Hi. These crinoids are beautiful ..😍... but you have a tough job ahead of you for the long, long winter days and evenings...😄 . The end result will probably be amazing. I look forward to the end of your work. Congratulations and warm greetings from Poland 👋 .

      The cold 🥶 Winter nights are a great time for fossil preparation indoors. You can stay warm and keep out of the cold. I look forward to showing you the completed specimen next year with my filming of this colossal Crinoid . Greetings from the ☀️ the Jurassic Coast 🌊- Lyme Regis 🏖

    Great video Brandon. Can wait to see your video when Mike completes all the pieces. By the way it was great to pop in and enjoy a chat with you the other week when we were in Lyme. A quick thumbs up for the NHS workers out there 👍. Both me and my wife love the fossil we brought back from your shop.

    TOTAL TREASURES! *Thanks for the View!* i Think i've found Crinoids in Yard, the tiny pieces: Calyx, Arms, Feeders 'heads' of a unknown various shades, look of darkish to brownish Green mineral. For most part, Matrix is Calcium Carbonate. Odd, Stems Not as pictures, but can see sections, no [total] crinoid over 1.5 inch, if that. Still wonder if i'm just Wishing?

    Hey together, is there a reason for not air abrading the pieces?

    • @LymeRegisFossils
      @LymeRegisFossils  2 года назад

      The air abrasive is abrasive and the mud can just be scrubbed off with a brush leaving better definition. That is for the most part what Mike is doing - scrubbing, he might need to air abrade a bit of it maybe 🤔
