Thanks 🙏 very much Mike for your great comments as always. The next video about the Crinoid specimen will be the whole completed ✔️ piece. What an extraordinary piece of work that will be from Mike !
Great stuff Phil, look forward to seeing you during October half term week. That will be fun catching you up then. It will be very interesting to see what’s happening then with the beaches around Lyme Regis- at low tide
Hi. These crinoids are beautiful ..😍... but you have a tough job ahead of you for the long, long winter days and evenings...😄 . The end result will probably be amazing. I look forward to the end of your work. Congratulations and warm greetings from Poland 👋 .
The cold 🥶 Winter nights are a great time for fossil preparation indoors. You can stay warm and keep out of the cold. I look forward to showing you the completed specimen next year with my filming of this colossal Crinoid . Greetings from the ☀️ the Jurassic Coast 🌊- Lyme Regis 🏖
Great video Brandon. Can wait to see your video when Mike completes all the pieces. By the way it was great to pop in and enjoy a chat with you the other week when we were in Lyme. A quick thumbs up for the NHS workers out there 👍. Both me and my wife love the fossil we brought back from your shop.
Thanks 🙏 very much for your comments, I enjoyed the good conversation we all had at the shop. You have a good ammonite, always a great display item . Now I know who Player One is 🙌 ✔️.
Imagine all the work Mike @mikeharrisonfossils had got on his “plate,” doing all the work on that grand scale. He has put huge amounts of time in already developing that Crinoid
Just can't get enough of this amazing find. Incredible work by Mike. And as usual great update Brandon. What are Mikes plans for the finished piece. It is truly something special.
Mike has plans to get the whole Crinoid together. I will film 🎞 it next year when completed ✔️. It will stand up altogether for a great photo. Thanks 🙏 very much for your comments.
TOTAL TREASURES! *Thanks for the View!* i Think i've found Crinoids in Yard, the tiny pieces: Calyx, Arms, Feeders 'heads' of a unknown various shades, look of darkish to brownish Green mineral. For most part, Matrix is Calcium Carbonate. Odd, Stems Not as pictures, but can see sections, no [total] crinoid over 1.5 inch, if that. Still wonder if i'm just Wishing?
The air abrasive is abrasive and the mud can just be scrubbed off with a brush leaving better definition. That is for the most part what Mike is doing - scrubbing, he might need to air abrade a bit of it maybe 🤔
A remarkable insight into the amount of work that goes into preparing fossil specimens. It certainly is a colossal crinoid specimen!
Thanks 🙏 very much Mike for your great comments as always. The next video about the Crinoid specimen will be the whole completed ✔️ piece. What an extraordinary piece of work that will be from Mike !
Mike is doing an excellent job ,a definite labour of love .Great video Brandon 💪
Thanks 🙏 very much for your comments. I have to take my hat 🧢 off to Mike, I don’t know where he finds the time for all his fossil prep
Such an incredible specimen Brandon. What a privilege to watch as always, cheers.
Thanks 🙏 very much indeed Phil. I can’t imagine what it will all look like in the end all put together like an amazing jigsaw puzzle 🧩
@@LymeRegisFossils can't wait to see it. We're aiming to be down in October half term.

We won’t find anything like Mike, but just a fragment of Crinoid is fun 🤩 to find in the winter
@@LymeRegisFossils any fossil is a great find 😊
Yes 🙌 , true and a fossil saved from the destruction of the sea is truly worth it
The amount of time they've been there is absolutely mind blowing
Yes 🙌 totally mind blowing 🌀🪨
Incredible
Must be a once in a life time find that one
@@LymeRegisFossils agreed, best i've ever seen!

Hey together, is there a reason for not air abrading the pieces?

❤
Wouldn't one of those fabric water jet guns work on this?
The material is rather delicate in places, I would have to look into it . 🙏
@@LymeRegisFossils Make sure you get one with an adjustable spray pattern and water pressure.
