Enjoyed this video so much, I watched (or listened) to it several times. I will also be setting up a new Budget Binder, in an A5 binder using some to the paper calendars and spending trackers my newly acquired binders came with. Will be using lots of colour, washi and stickers to keep me motivated, especially to note days I stayed on budget and no unbudgeted spends. Thanks for the inspiration!

I love when the binder that you purchased comes with some trackers for it. Yes, using washi tape and stickers makes the binder much prettier! @@SimplyMade that's the nice thing about making it as a DIY binder is that its fully customizable! Yeah, I honestly did like the big planner for the amount of space I had to write on but found it a bit too big to bring places. Do you keep your previous planners? Which budget system do you use?
@ I used a notebook for years until I saved up enough to buy happy planner stuff. I am using @heykaybudgets new digital downloads for monthly, weekly, and cash breakdown planning. It’s new so I’m adjusting but I’m liking it. I saw @stefsonabudget buy the same planner pages you did and she did it again with her happy planner.

After 2 months I decided it's just too small and I bought a big Happy Planner and the digital workbook. I'm hoping it works out for me. I've never used a happy planner before but I've been wanting to try it.

Yes, I felt the same Julie last year but then I had it and I find it hard to carry (I bring it with me places so I need it a little bit more convenient-but if you keep yours at home you should be fine). @@leahwhite3403 Hi Leah, no it ended up just being regular printer paper thickness. The video that I watched (which is linked in the description box) she uses blank Happy Planner paper which would probably be a bit thicker and better quality then what I purchased on Amazon.

Pen and paper are important to me when using a planner. What kind of paper did you use? It seems like sturdy paper, which I am looking for.
