In Germany, it is no longer really allowed to say the truth. That is why the Onkelz are so popular with normal people because they sing the reality, no matter what happens, even if their songs are prohibited!
"Irgendwie Seelenverwandt" you could let that translation into english be as it is, but the next line "Auch, wenn Du es nicht glaubst" should have been translated as: "Even, if you don't believe it" instead of "i feel like you do". I cannot believe that someone is doing such a sloppy job!! PLEASE let me know, if i should do some translations for you from german into english. What i have heard so far from you reacting to "Böhse Onkelz" here, there were always words and even lines that were simply wrongly translated! It gives me the creeps... Or only a missing word in a sentence. F.E."We saw the same light" should have been translated as "We saw into the same light" More or less probably the same meaning, but still not correct translated! "We want it all without debate" should have been translated as "we want all or nothing". "Something that exites me" should have been translated to "Something that drives me" and "Maybe she gives my life a goal" should have been "Maybe the reason why i live"- That is the correct translation! I am so annoyed about these translations of the lyrics of one of my favorite german bands, you cannot imagine. To whom do i have to talk to for better translations in the future or even better corrections of these translations as they are at the moment...?
