I personally think its worth even buying a card for it. I played all 3 games on my car ride from Vegas to Alaska. So fun!!!

Years ago me and my best friend played nothing but Mario Party(DS) for 18 hours from NC to Michigan.
I hope you enjoyed the game, the ride and the new landscape, what a change, Vegas to Alaska. I had never been so cold at -13 F in Michigan, and there was still green grass poking through the snow and people walking around in pretty normal clothes!
@@TheBioshockHub i owned bioshock and bioshock 2 remastered on my switch lite, but i don't have any SD card. but they both run well and smoothly, and the remaining capacity of my storage is 2.8 GB 😆 but i am planning to get card soon to expand my capacity and to get bioshock infinite, alien isolation, outlast 2, crysis etc.
Any purchase of Bioshock, regardless of platform, is always worth it. I mean..it’s only one of the greatest games of all time.

Bioshock looks amazing on my switch. My first system was an NES, I played tiger electronic games, so any game made from xbox today has graphics good enough to allow me to really enjoy them. I know that switch is the least powerful system on the market, but I still love mine!
Taking BioShock with you wherever you go? HELL YEAH! I’m glad that this is an option for us BioShock game series lovers. I’ve seen some gameplay for the mobile game and it’s such a cool concept of having it in the palm of your hand to take with you. Too bad it’s a failed project... or I guess discontinued (and was on what we’d call ancient versions of cellphones now a days lol). I’m still one of the few who haven’t tried this on switch yet and would love to try it out! Great hearing your thoughts on this version of the game! 🤘🏻🔥
It's weird for me on Switch because I'm not fully used to it, but it's definitely fun.
Yeah this is the only reason to buy switch. Switch can be seen from two point of views. As a console, Switch is garbage but as a handheld portable, it is amazing 10/10. If it wasn't for the steam deck, switch portable handheld would have been the best thing on the go. If you wanna stay home, save your money for the playstation or xbox but if you're going outside, get the switch.

I feel there is too much hate on this collection, remember when the first time bioshock was on pc. It was unbelievable, and mind blowing how amazing it looked, we now have it on the go, and yet people bitch about ohh how it's 30fps,, like seriously just be thankful you have it ffs 🙄 we're lucky to have it

As someone who doesn’t have any consoles except for switch, and who is limited in their laptops performance, the switch version is a miracle. Because i dont play fps games very often, the controls didnt bug me much, and i never noticed and frame issues. Not saying theyre arent however. Its more just im used to it.
It’s funny this video came out today-I just got the collection about a week ago while it was on sale-and I’ve been looking for every opportunity to return to it between work.

Purchased this game a week ago. It was on sale for 10 dollars and I'm having alot of fun playing it on handheld. Definitely worth it especially since I already beat them on ps4.

I played on the switch and Xbox 360 generally the switch version has a higher fov and looks a bit sharper the frames tend to dip more on the switch but other than that I thinks the switch version is better
I already bought the collectors edition for PS5 but I do see the big appeal for switch. If I had the time or had to travel with time to kill I’d rebuy it

Watching this in 2023 lol. Just picked up the collection for $10 for my OLED switch. I have a high end gaming rig and Xbox Series but rarely get to play them as a busy ass dad of 3 kids so I’m experiencing Bioshock for the first time playing handheld. Amazing deal for this collection.

I think 30 fps is fine if thats constant . I only notice it when games have a super low frame rate

Just bought this Collection on the Nintendo store for £7.99, Still an amazing series to play 16 years on, I have played all these on Xbox 360 Release, Xbox One and Now going through them on the Switch, Would recommend anyone to play them on any platform if you have not already, 10/10 Games ✨

Is this worth getting on the switch or should I just get them on steam for cheaper. Only reason I was thinking about the switch version was just to have a physical copy but if the game has that delay and is going to cost me 20-30 dollars when the 3 games on steam will go for a bundle for $12 rn

I bought it a year ago, and I definitely don't regret it. I have experienced a couple of game crashes, so be sure to save your game frequently. It recently went on sale for cheap, so buy it!

@@TheBioshockHub I play it on the Switch but I always link it to a Big Screen setup that I built for gaming, with good quality Near Field Speakers, so that I can be fully immersed in the game, in RAPTURE.
@@TheBioshockHub ...I bought the Switch because I got sick of waiting for the PS5, and I knew that the remastered Bioshock series was available there and I wanted to replay it. I bought it knowing about its linking ability, (the larger version), and for the potential portable play, but other than trying out some games at the start I never play a game on the small screen, it's just too small. I couldn't imagine playing a game like Bioshock on a small screen, especially on the lite version.
1tb SD card are also now available so you may want to buy one on black Friday if they go sale so you won't have to buy multiple SD cards if you play alot of switch games

Coming back a year later. The normal switch for Bioshock is lock to 30 frames per second as well and the game has crashed yet too.
Hi Eric, my name is Gabriel and i'm from Brazil, i love bioshock since the first time that i played it on the 360, i've just bought the Nintendo switch two days ago and now i'm wanting to return to play this masterpiece, the 30 FPS cap is saddly but at least it has the portability factor, i think that i'll play it a lot while i'm pooping😂

I bought a used switch lite for 120 bucks at the beginning of the month. So far on the e-shop I have bought the bioshock collection for 10 bucks, Wolfenstein 2 for 11 bucks, XenoVerse 2 for 7.50, doom eternal and doom for 15 dollars a piece as well as doom 3 for 4 dollars... I have a ton of great games and including the 128 gb memory card MIGHT have 200 dollars invested between the console and the games combined that is unbeatable value

I dont own another console/pc, only the switch and a shitty laptop, + I didn't have access to my family's pc anymore lol so I didn't have the chance to play bioshock from 2012-2020. when I heard about the news that bioshock would come to the switch, I legit started sobbing because I could play my favorite game again
I love these games played them all in 360 just picked the switch set up for 20 bucks at target gonna enjoy playing through them again on my switch

I'd say it's worth it if you never played it or if you want to play on the go still one of my favorite game franchise hope we hear about bioshock 4 soon . Also it's still probably less leggy then game streaming .
Great game and its always on Switch for $10 bucks. Sometimes I wish I had grown up now instead of back in the day when I was stuck with Seadoo Hydrocross and Nascar 99 for over a year
I got the game for my birthday last year and I finished the game for the 3rd time today so yes it’s worth and I didn’t notice that many frame drops

I think the 30 fps cap makes me a bit nervous because part of the reason I love this game is how visually appealing it is. I think it is super cool to have Bioshock on a mobile platform because I just the love the game. I'd say it's probably still worth it. I've been convinced to try to buy it sometime(:
It's possible that the regular switch might have 60fps, I'm not 100% sure as I play on the Switch Lite.

Just got both a switch lite and the collection about 2 months ago, and, fuck yes, it’s worth it. Playing BioShock in bed without a bulky computer is great. Only issue is that I get hand cramps, but I don’t mind it.
Watch out for those cramps!
My hands cramp way too easy so ended up getting grips for the lite. Helps tremendously!

I've beaten bioshock 3 times and bioshock 2, times on switch without it crashing. Probably the best part of the switch version since on xbox and pc it crashes all the time.
Man the game are great and it plays awesome and great game play just like the PS4 and I had no problems with my game's thumbs up.To bioshock we do need a bioshock 4 soon New ip please and thank you.👍👍

I believe it's 30fps on the Lite, not 100% sure on the regular Switch.

Best Switch Game not from Nintendo
I play 4k 144fps or 1080p 100+fps ultra on a laptop battery mode it's great but i will say the switch is playable and very manageable, but it's far from perfect with performance.
I have the game for the regular switch and actually a lot of fun cuz I want to go you can play it whenever you want and I really like it

Technically, it's on the PS5, just need to use the PS4 version of the collection. The graphics were upscaled and everything.

If I did have a Switch I definitely would have the Bioshock Collection on it for sure. But as it is I think I will stick with my PS4/5 console version. And also I still can't wait for the New Bioshock
BioShock 1 Is the firts game I've ever finished, and since then, i fell in love with BioShock series, but i am maybe a little worried about buying it on Switch, And Its not because of 30fps cap or lower graphic, I am worried that I would suck ať playing it on console. I've completed the entire collection, played through infinite 2x. Bioshock 2 was my least favorite of them all. It's still amazing though
Is the input lag still bad? I want to get this as I have it on pc but never have played it and been on my switch more. But I can't do input lag no no. It's hard enough to go from a 3060 ti to a switch lol.
On PC, it should be fine if you play the original versions. I've heard there's some issues with the remastered ones, 2 specifically.

Ok the BioShock condition addition is good the first two is the best but I would not call third one BioShock but in the second one I would change the ending where you stay in the underwater city

Might get made fun of but whatever. Before I got my PC I downloaded the BioShock Collection on Switch since I heard great things about the series and I wanted to try it out. Installed and played through all 3 of the games including their DLC and instantly loved the series. PC does run and look much better though. Also never really noticed the framerate cap or delay as you mention. Mabey your controllers are messed up? Switches are prone to drift idk if the drift can happen on the Switch Lite since I play on the normal switch.
I'm not sure if it's my switch lite or what, just notice a slight input delay.
