Another great video! I'd like to see you try doing some magnet fishing from bridges though. Oftentimes stuff gets swiped off of your magnets as it drags across sand & rocks. I think you might have better luck working that way. Another tip would be to find a little less traveled bridges but still near a decent sized town. You'll find all sorts of goodies there!
Good question. Two reasons: A lot of the bridges in my area don’t have a shoulder that allows me to safely throw without risking getting hit. Lastly, if you throw from the waters edge, you cover more surface area pulling towards you than you would throwing from a bridge. Of course you risk items getting pulled off the longer you’re dragging the bottom, but if you have a strong magnet you lower that risk.
@@busterswoodswater9226 But, you also have a much greater risk of getting stuck in the rocks when dragging from the shore. I guess you're kind of in a catch-22. Either way, I wish you much success with your channel. My son and I spent a year in Mountain Home in 2000. Beautiful state. I'm in NW Oklahoma now, he's in Colorado. I just sent him a magnet kit for his birthday, lol.
Buster - When you opened the package for your new Brute magnet, and used it right away - be aware that the Threadlocker instructions indicate, after applying, to let dry for 24 hours to allow it to harden. You might want to check to see how securely seated the i-bolt screw is. I enjoy your videos!
Thank you for the support! Yes, I have since gone back and secured the I-bolt. The problem that occurred in this video was user error with the carabiner haha
Hi neighbor, middle TN here. Ya crazy weather here too: in the low 20's at night and been high 50's last 2 days in the afternoon. Have you thought about walking along creeks and dragging the magnet? I'm considering trying it this summer and have creeks nearby I think may have cool stuff in. Cool channel 👍
Hey there! I went to college at Sewanee so middle TN has a special place in my heart. I haven’t had a lot of luck in creeks, mostly rivers, bridges, and boat ramps. If it’s in a place that gets a lot of foot traffic, it’s definitely worth a try though! Thank you for the support!
Whenever you get ready to back after that spot, give me a DM on FB....you're in my backyard so to speak😁. Live in Conway but most of my dipping/tossing is out in the county and surrounding counties. And on your statement about the bullets....oh yeah, the pew pews are here😁😉
I have a couple of times. Usually have to have quite a bit to make it worth your while and I don’t like having it laying around while I’m waiting for enough metal weight to accumulate
What a disappointment! Don’t inflate your video title for views, hold yourself to a higher standard! If you truly believed there was a safe you would not have given up.
I apologize if I disappointed you. But views are not my concern, I got into this hobby strictly to clean up my local waterways. Its fantastic if viewers choose to follow my environmental journey, but conning a social presence is not my goal here. The title is to spark the question, “Is the safe located there?”…..not a play on words that I actually found the safe and are fishing for followers. Hence the question marks in the title. Since there are only a finite amount of daylight hours in a day, you will find that I did return to that same spot in a subsequent video where I locked onto something so heavy that my rope broke and I lost a magnet….so the question still remains, “Is the safe still there?”
Awesome!
Brilliant video! Happy dipping from the UK!
Thank you! I’ve watched some wild magnet fishing videos in some of the canals in the UK. Happy hunting!
Fun,fun, fun
Great job! Let it up! 💕👵
Great video!!!

Maaaan. Those shopping carts are the only structure in that pond.
Someone had to do it 😂
I LOVE your tee shirt!!
Thank you! Great company!
And thank you for the support
You should probably get a grappling hook for some of this stuff
I’ve been thinking about that! The only problem is there’s lots of rocks where I go that it could get easily caught up on
Just came across your channel awesome video
Thank you for the support! I appreciate you

Just wondering why u don't fish off the bridges?

hemostats..name of your locking medical clamps. used in surgery, etc.
Could be multi-purposed, folks also use them to hold their joints.
Thank you for the clarification. My wife promptly corrected me when I got home! Haha

#StuckLikeTruck
I like it! 😂
@@busterswoodswater9226 that's why I like to park close to where I fish. Trucks saved me a dozen times now. 1 loss in 2 years.
@@alaskansonthefly2737 I’d say those are good odds
@@busterswoodswater9226 yes sir
You can sure throw that magnet out there. I just subscribed and look forward to watching more. Good video!

Im jealous I missed the main event! Thanks for the support!

That appears to be more of a retention pond. That's why it's stagnant and stinky because the water doesn't move. Sorry about your Brute magnet...
That makes sense! Thanks for the support!
Do you take stuff to scrap places?

What kind of rope r u using
Couple of different kinds. I believe I was using a 1/4 diameter nylon blend in this video
