Steve, can I give you a tip, one I learned the hard way, Don't stir resin when it's got red, yellow, & blue, or red yellow & green all together in it, because it's very likely to make a muddy result. If you must stir the colours, then only stir them very slightly and you will find you get better, prettier results. Hope that helps you. Colours are treacherous little things when you mix them together. The more you disturb them, or stir them together, the more ugly they become, Lol. All the best in your resin work etc.
Nice chair but if you have cats or long hair dogs be careful as I seen a cat get there tail ripped off as it got it stuck in the chair when the leg bit was up.
@fairyspunfibers9098 sorry that is an egg carrier.....just like the one in my fridge.....they came with the fridge........maybe a shot carrier...I don't drink so could possibly be. Lol
Hello Steve- I am glad you picked these molds as I have a question. How do you attache them to a chain of rope to make a necklace. I thought a #9 jump ring would work but it was not large enough. Thanks for any suggestions.
I am new to resin art, and have a lot to learn. One question, if someone could let me know, please. Do I need to use mould release, and if so, which is best? I love your videos!!
@@fairyspunfibers9098 I know it's a shot glass mold. I've looked to buy one. I just can't find it on any of the sites I've looked at. I'm requesting where to get the mold. Hopefully it's available in Canada!
@deborahcorreale352 Photos need to be firmly sealed, generally in plastic (very wide tape works) with a 1or 2 mm border all around the photos. Otherwise resin will ruin the photo.
hey this is random, but does anyone have any good dice blank mold and molds with numbers recommendations? I have been looking for a set for so long, so I can make the "encased" dice that look like they have frames around them. But I can't find a set that has both the dice blanks, and the dice with numbers
Did you make the resin cup holder from an egg carton as a mold? I'm trying to figure out how to hold my cups too. All the egg cartons I see have rounded bottoms and I don't think that will work.
Hi Steve, I have an idea and I need a resin user to help. What I want can be very saleable too, but I’m not interested in £ so I want to give you the idea but have your help to achieve the piece I have in mind. Where do I contact you privately? Much love ❤❤❤

You know that Steve is colorblind, right?
I doubt they know anything about this channel, about Steve, what kind of person he is.
Sheesh....
@@MrsLisaCrowBut he CAN read. And he is just partially colorblind.
Steve, we really appreciate your positivity! Love your experiments too!
Ooo! I’m going to have to nick my hubby’s paint he uses for his air fix models! Sh …. Don’t tell him! 😂
Once again an awesome treasure remove of useful tips. Thank you for sharing your wisdom.
Hi Steve, I hope you are doing well. I just loved your advertisement for the chairs😊 I mite get myself one like yours at 5:06 as I'm fully disabled. ❤

I love those molds because they have rounded edges, but the ones in your links are not the same.
The thing you use to stabilise your little cups is an egg stand for the fridge.
The little silicone cups also fit perfectly. 😍
@Chrissyandme
It's a shot glass holder/carrier that bartenders use. But, it would work for smallish eggs, too.

Lol
Steve himself said it was a shotglass carrier in one of his vids
@@firemoonredtalon9487 who cares really....both identical
Wasn't trying to be confrontational, was just saying what it was so if someone wanted to find and make their own they could.
I have these moulds, I love them, going to try what you did. I bet I get in a bigger mess than you Steve 😂

They're lovely, fantastic idea ❤
These came out very nice Steve, thanks for the tip with enamel paint.
Those are great! I love the shapes and sizes of those molds. Those little paint cans are adorable!
Love your experiments!!
Ooh so we can use enamel in place of resin colour paste?? This will save alot of ppl alot of money 😍
Lovely as always. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us.
Good to know more alternatives to color resin, but I'll stick with the resin pigments I have and I'll try this method, thanks for the ideas!
Very pretty, love this 💜✨🌈
Very good idea❤
Where did you get the shot glass holder silicone mold again to hold your little cups?
Love it!
You make an awesome spokesperson for Flexisoft!
Could the white enamel paint be used like a white sinker?
Where did you get those tiny enamel paints
Hey Steve! Where did you get your shot glass mold? I'm always spilling stuff.
Enamel paint, is that model paint?
Cool idea. Thanks.

It's an egg holder for the fridge 😊
It's actually a shot glass holder/carrier (mold) that bartenders and waiters like to use. I'm sure it would double as an egg carrier, too!

@fairyspunfibers9098 oh okay, I apologise, I thought it was an egg holder
The molds you are us8ng are not what you have in your link. Can you share where to find these molds? Thank you.
Hi Steve - would you recommend a similar application with UV resin? I'm not sure how it would be thickened though! Perhaps the hairspray trick?
Is there a USA site for the desk and recliner chairs?
🥰
Steve do you have any videos on how to put photos in resin to make things like ornaments, key chains or trays?
@deborahcorreale352

He does have a video of him putting a photo of a golden lab inside a heart shape and shows how to seal it yes.
Have you ever tried injecting paint in clear resin with a hypodermic needle? I'm thinking a nice swirl.

Amazon has a twin mold set.. one is rounded like egg cartons and another is like this Steve made.
