Easy peasy install. Are you still running this today? Can the butt dyno fell any extra power? TBH I kinda like the fact that this mod doesn't make a lot of intake sound yet still looks cool under the hood. I might give it a try.
Hello mate, yeah parts were shot in Eastbourne, thats right. Can definitely recommend it. I've done quite a bit more on the car now. Pushing 470HP and it awesome. I'll be making videos again over the coming weeks. Any questions just ask away. The 540i is an epic platform. Very happy with what I have achieved so far. Cheers 🍻
@MuhammadMusa-tm3jh I see. Didn't read it properly first thing. Being honest, no, when the car us stock it's mega downtrend by BMW to keep the cretins at the EU happy. So it's quiet. Still sounds nice under full power but nothing like it's true potential.
@MuhammadMusa-tm3jh my take. Leave the resonators as they are. Ends up messing with the sound too much and can lead to drone. Get an induction kit like the BMS, get a catless or if not high flow downpipe. Tune when you can. For more sound get the Remus exhaust system as its tuned to perfection. I will be getting that in the near future.
I would probably just upgrade the panel filter on a 520D, then do an ecu flash or piggyback ecu. That will be more than sufficient. The ecu flash will bring the engine alive. Cheers 🍻
Hello mate. No literally nothing. It's been spot in since install. Excellent with a tune and sounds great. Watch my latest video to see what stage 2 tuning is like. Cheers 🍻
Hello mate, I had the JB+ plug and play. If your interested I part made a video on it many months back but never finished. So could get it done? I moved on to MHD, never looked back since. Cheers 🍻
I'll have to check, hopefully all OK. On my last 5, G31 I did need to replace the drivers door lighting strip. Currently they are great, weirdly better than my other car and the brightness isn't even that high. Are you running a 540i as well?
Thanks for the reply guys. And yes I have a G30 540i as well. I found this guy who took off his dash and cleaned the lights so i will try this ruclips.net/video/f8va5yikHM0/видео.html
The big box connected to the intake pipe is a muffler, that mutes the induction noise for a more “insulated” drive. I’d suggest removing the intake muffler off and fitting the BMS intake muffler delete, just a metal cap that goes where the intake muffler used to ve
@abdurraafe9803 Hey, thanks for watching. I kept the lower part on as that is connected to the cold air feed, works great and sounds amazing. Car is now stage 2 tuned with downpipe. Watch my latest video. Cheers 🍻
@@rev-viewsauto the lower part as in the air box? I completely agree with keeping the air box, look into “intake muffler” you’ll see what I’m saying, it’s a night and day difference. The muffler takes away flutter and induction noise.
@abdurraafe9803 oh... I know what you mean now. Yeah I did leave that on. I might remove that eventually. But do check out that latest video as with the catless downpipe I think I've pretty much got the sound to where I want it. Awesome boost noise now. Might do some new videos again soon.
I think you will get a small performance increase yes. But mainly it saves the way for other mods. But it does make the engine and induction sound much better. Watch my latest video! Cheers

Sorry to disappoint you but these open filters are worse ,they bring hot air and get heat soak , stock air box with drop in filter are the best in the b58.
Well... car now runs 3.8 zero to sixty with stage 2 tune. Heard about the heat soak, but IAT stats all monitored and its running great. No disappointment here pal. Car is fast and sounds incredible. Cheers 🍻

stock exhaust no tune?

Experts indicate that this type of open system draws hot air towards the turbo and therefore lowers performance.
