      Thanks for making it look easy...is there a way to tell when the chisel is digging in too deep before it gets too bad?
      Do you have another letter video that shows all the letters in this style and one for rounded ones like a bubble or cartoon font? Please, pretty please...

      @@fdort3971 with a bit of practice you will be able to carve any letter in any style. Or anything else for that matter. Carving is carving is carving!

    Sawdust is indeed man glitter. I take a pinch of my cedar shavings and with a dab of glue I place some behind my ears and now I'm cologned up for the public. Thank you for the letter carving guidance!

      Go for a mid priced set of chisels. Super cheap are rubbish and I’ve not had a need for an £80 chisel! I use Rider flat chisels and Pfeil Swiss carving chisels.
      And for wood, anything will do to start. But something like Lime wood/Basswood is perfect for carving.

    So that's how it's done!
    Guess I need more patience while carving
    Sharpening tools might also help

    So do you have to put a centre marking in all letters? What about a o?

    • @KingBespokeCreations
      @KingBespokeCreations  Год назад +1

      A central mark if you want it central! I always use a print out to carve from so I know my lettering is the right size.
