@@railfankerala bro before 2014 tvm is underdeveloped no malls, good air services etc. But after 2014 Trivandrum is rising. 2 malls are built which is running successfully and another Mall is Torres/Taurus which is an American and British IT and Malls and Company which have invested in Tvm in 2016. Now there are finishing the projects and will be completed this year Also, air services have increased after the adani takeover.

Don't worry bro. Aalukal palathum parayum. Just avoid. You concentrate on Trivandrum. I'm from Thrissur. I want both Trivandrum and Kochi to develop as metro cities. I had spend 4 years of my initial work life in Trivandrum. To be very frank, those 4 years were the best period of my life. 👍I'm looking forward to visit Trivandrum again once Vizhinjham port gets functional.

Now there are finishing the projects and will be completed this year
Also, air services have increased after the adani takeover.

ഇന്ത്യക്ക് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം ലഭിച്ചപ്പോൾ തിരുകൊച്ചി സംസ്ഥാനം രൂപം കൊണ്ടു. അന്ന് തലസ്ഥാനം ആകാൻ ഏറ്റവും യോജ്യം തിരുവനന്തപുരം ആയിരുന്നു.കാരണം സെക്രട്ടറിയേറ്റ് അടക്കം അന്നേ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. കേരളത്തിൽ ആ സമയത്തു യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റികളും general hospitals ഉം നല്ലൊരു എയർപോർട്ടും ഒക്കെ കൊണ്ട് ഏറ്റവും വികസനം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഒരു നഗരം ആയിരുന്നു തിരുവനന്തപുരം.
തിരു-കൊച്ചി സംസ്ഥാനതലസ്ഥാനം തിരുവനന്തപുരം ആയാൽ കൊച്ചിയുടെ പ്രാധാന്യം കുറയുമെന്ന് ചിലർ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു. എന്നാൽ എതിർത്തിട്ടു കാര്യമില്ല എന്ന് മനസിലാക്കിയതുകൊണ്ടാണ് ഹൈ കോടതി എങ്കിലും അവിടെ വേണം എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു അതിനെ അങ്ങ് കൊണ്ടുപോയത്.
പിന്നീട് നമ്മൾ കണ്ടത് മലബാറിനെ കൂടെ കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്ത് കേരളം എന്ന സംസ്ഥാനം രൂപം കൊള്ളിച്ചതാണ്. അതോടെ Central Location theory എന്ന ലോകത്ത് എവിടെയും ഇല്ലാത്ത ന്യായം പറഞ്ഞുതു (തൃശ്ശൂരിനും പാലക്കാടിനും ഇടയിൽ ആണ് യഥാർത്ഥ Central Location എന്നിരിക്കെ) കേരളത്തിലെ ഭൂരിഭാഗം വികസനങ്ങളും കൊണ്ടുപോയാണ് കൊച്ചി വികസിച്ചത്. തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തുകാർക്ക് എന്നും വികസനമുരടിപ്പിന് എതിരെ പ്രതിഷേധിക്കാൻ ആയിരുന്നു വിധി.
ഇനി ഇന്റെർനെറ്റിലേക്ക് വരാം. 2000 - 2010 സമയത്തൊക്കെ നോക്കിയാൽ വികസനമുരടിപ്പിന് എതിരെ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തുകാർ പ്രതികരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവരെ നോക്കി കളിയാക്കൽ മാത്രമായിരുന്നു ചില കൊച്ചിക്കാർ നടത്തിയിരുന്നത്.
മാൾ ഇല്ലാത്തതിന് അടക്കം നിരന്തരം കളിയാക്കലുകൾ ആയിരുന്നു കൊച്ചിക്കാർ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തോട് നടത്തിയിരുന്നത്.
എന്നാൽ 2016 ഒക്കെ ആയപ്പോൾ കളി മാറി എന്ന് അവർക്കു മനസ്സിലായി. വിഴിഞ്ഞം തുറമുഖം നിർമാണം തുടങ്ങിയതോടെയാണ് അവർ panic ആകാൻ തുടങ്ങിയത്.
തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തുകാർ നഗര പേജുകൾ ഒക്കെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി അതിലൂടെ നഗര വികസന കാര്യങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ കളിയാക്കിരുന്ന ആ കൊച്ചിക്കാർ പോലും അവസാനം സ്വന്തമായി ഫേസ്ബുക്ക് പേജ് ഉണ്ടാക്കി കോപ്പി അടിച്ചു തുടങ്ങി.
എന്നിട്ടും തിരുവനന്തപുരം മുന്നോട്ടു പോകുന്നത് കണ്ടു ആണ് ഇവർ കണ്ട്രോൾ പോയി panic ആകാൻ തുടങ്ങിയത്. മാൾ ഇല്ലെന്ന കളിയാക്കൽ കേട്ടിരുന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു തന്നെ കേരളത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ മാളും Multiplex ഉം വന്നു.Airport PPP ആയി. ഇതൊക്കെ കാരണമാണ് കേരളത്തിലെ മറ്റു ജില്ലക്കാരെ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തിന് എതിരെ തിരിക്കാൻ കുത്തിത്തിരിപ്പ് വരെ ഇവർ തുടങ്ങിയത്.
ഏതായാലും ഒരു കാലത്തു തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തുകാർ വികസനം പറയുമ്പോൾ കളിയാക്കി അവഗണിച്ചു നടന്നിരുന്നവർ ഇപ്പൊ തിരുവനന്തപുരം എന്ന് കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ active ആയി degrade ചെയ്യാൻ നടക്കുന്നതിനു അർത്ഥം അവർ ഈ നഗരം വികസിക്കുന്നതിനെ പേടിക്കുന്നു എന്നാണു. അതായത് നമ്മൾ നേരായ മാർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ ആണ്. തിരുവനന്തപുരം ഇതുപോലെ വികസിച്ചാൽ കേരളത്തിലെ നമ്പർ വൺ നഗരം ആകുമെന്നതിൽ സംശയമില്ല. അതുകൊണ്ട് അവന്മാർക്ക് വലിയ വില കൊടുക്കേണ്ട കാര്യമില്ല. 😊😊

Kerala is the only state without high court or even high court bench in state capital. Trivandrum had airport even before other places in Kerala could say airport. Bro, This intolerance did not start today or yesterday, it started when the capital was Thiruvananthapuram.
