Just imagine when this song was released, there was uproar, controversial scandal and talks of banning it. ... Now itis a Disney live show act? Just goes to show how much things change with the passage of time.

No, Abi Carter is clearly the MVP. That’s a cartoon drawing, I can do that too, even a 5 years old child can do that, oops you don’t have one I suppose.
I followed Abi on American Idol & I’m so happy for her! She came from a super religious family who wouldn’t even let her listen to rock growing up, but let her do Evanescence (which is religious, tbf), & then Fall Out boy; And now she’s singing "Like A Prayer" with Deadpool! What a ride! I hope every album of hers is like: Adele + My Chem Romance; Coldplay + Fall Out Boy… She’s the next gen’s Mariah Carey, but she can do ANY genre! I hope she doesn’t get stuck in just one. If she can rap, she may take over the world!
Is this Nick Pauley with Ryan vo? It sure like this. At least it's Pauley but someone else is making an impression of Ryan. What is certain, Lady D. is not Blake. The latter is taller.
What the hell, who put this ridiculous performance together....AND more importantly, WHO thought this was a good idea to put the talented Abi Carter in this. ABI is amazing in everything she does.
What I hate about new artists or those made in reality tv shows is that they think a cover should be a sort of opera song or a super slow motion version screaming just like someone pulls their hairs strongly. Why do they do that? most songs don´t need to be sung like if you saw Michael Myers or Freddy Kruger.
So sad and pathetic. They making all that money from people and can't even pay to get Madonna to sing and Ryan Reynolds to show as deadpool? What a bunch of scammer
Funny thing is with "like a prayer" is that it is maybe the only song in history what whenever it was covered by anyone it was better than the original Madonna version.
I understand why this is "stupid," but why is it "woke"? From my understanding, Deadpool was not particularly woke, at least not anymore so than Hollywood movies were prior to the late 2010s (Hollywood always had a leftist agenda, but, more recently, they seem to have started purposefully antagonizing right wing viewers). I don't like that Disney chose to do a movie full of cursing and innuendos which is the finale or a trilogy that features gratuitous nudity, but I don't see how that's either woke or anti-woke, it's just a break from their image as "family friendly."
We live in a world so tired of being chastised in high schools and college from the years for plagiarism that they made it a norm by remaking old movies, and cover songs and selling them as better than the original. sometimes never acknowledging, barely hiding any credit to the original. there have been few, very very few instances when a song was covered and meant so much more, Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt for instance. he didn't sing it almost verbatim with a little vocal flutter, and omg it's so much better! There was a reason behind his version meaning something more
Yeah, when Disney started buying out all the other studios, they should’ve rebranded to "Big Video" (or a more friendly name) & made Disney a subsidiary- next to the Marvel, Star Wars, Fox, Hulu, etc. brands (Pixar could’ve been merged into Disney cuz it was a good fit); But instead they combining them all under the same previously "family oriented" Disney brand. There are some marketing execs who completely missed the mark! Whereas Disney used to stand for family/kid-oriented content, now it’s just the name of a corporation who distributes all content that makes them money. I think they could e made more money keeping them separate.
Don't know if it's the audio quality but she sounds terrible. There's no emotion to it compared to the original, like this is just another gig to her...another paycheck.
Again, Abi's version. Love it! Technically and vocally amazing!
Just imagine when this song was released, there was uproar, controversial scandal and talks of banning it. ... Now itis a Disney live show act? Just goes to show how much things change with the passage of time.
Some of Madonna's shows literally had police waiting to arrest her if her performance simulated an orgasm too accurately. How times change.
lol exactly
Wasn't that because the music video featured burning crosses?
And it's a sex song 😅

They need to release a mp3 of Ali's cover, it blew madonna's original out of the water, her voice is just so amazing!
Abi Carter is amazing, and every song on Deadpool I hear now I only think of Deadpool lol
Abi Carter, Lady Deadpool, and Deadpool himself was the performance I did not see coming
Pretty sure everyone who went there weren't excepting it either
I dunno... looked like Deadpool was lip-synching. I'm not sure that was really him.
This song will be forever bound to deadpool ❤❤❤ plus she's amazing ❤❤❤
This song will forever be bound to any fight sequence in the MCU now lmao😂
I love Abi Carter
Love how most American Idol winners bring out a single and kinda fade into the background. Abi wins and BOOM! Deadpool.
Dancepool was amazing in that! It has to be Dancepool!
The singer has amazing vocal performance ,smoother than studio version
Abi Carter the full package... best from Idol since maybe Kelly.
