I saw them on this tour the very next day. Pierre Moerlen was amazing, but the lineup actually featured two percussionists, the other being Morris Pert, who was also pretty damn good. Thanks for the upload, much better quality than the tape I had from the show I saw.
Five Miles Out was closest to what Mike was looking for. The concert performances were improving the music. I think Mike gave up because most of the fans (and RB?) were vocal about TB superiority, but FMO was almost perfect for me while I don't care about TB at all 😥Many friends of mine like Crises but I would love to hear Taurus III. as a 20 minutes song in some album called other than Crises 😄
there has never been any one else like Mike oldfield. A very unique special musician and writer.
