Not that it matters, I prefer presidents stick to the speech unless they are amazing speakers, like Obama. But the first thing that came to mind now that I just watched the 2 side by side, is you can see Biden is going off cuff a bit with the remarks but he's doing great; because he was telling an important and poignant story. You can tell here Trump is just reading the teleprompter (as they should be doing) because he's reading and he's looking from one side to the other and only those 2 spots, where the screens are placed, whereas with Biden he's looking around at everyone while speaking, which means he's using the screens as notes only. It depends on the person's skills as to whether that's a good thing or not. Trump needs to stick with reading the teleprompter, as did Carter, the Bush's. Obama, Reagan, and Biden are good with just using it for notes and to keep them on track.
Unfortunately it’s not been viewed enough. Trump uses not a single note for reference nor did he show a moment of uncertainly with every word and thought bold and beautifully delivered into the ears of his audience many of which are covert adversaries in the hunt for control. Awesome speech Trump!!
You should read Autocracy Inc. by Anne Applebaum and you will see how this speech is signaling things to come. By that I mean his desider to be the Victor Orban of America. After you listened to this beautiful speech did you look up the word sovereign? Also, what does he mean by prosperity? I don't think he is very concerned with your's and my finances. Yes he was coherent, but his message was terrorizing. The other world leaders there knew, just not you.

Not a terrible speech, I appreciated his mention of human rights, prosperity, sovereignty and safety, which all are laudable common goals to achieve. It seemed that human rights from Trump's perspective can in some cases take place over sovereignty, on that, I agree. In my opinion, any nation's legitimacy is based on how well it serves or is seen to serve its people. Destroying North Korea because of a weapon that defends their sovereignty? That goes against all those laudable goals. Most of the speech was forward looking, direct, and promoted working together, but this extreme threat on the world stage will be the only thing most people will ever hear or anyone will remember about this speech.

Not a terrible speech, I appreciated his mention of human rights, prosperity, sovereignty and safety, which all are laudable common goals to achieve. It seemed that human rights from Trump's perspective can in some cases take place over sovereignty, on that, I agree. In my opinion, any nation's legitimacy is based on how well it serves or is seen to serve its people.
Destroying North Korea because of a weapon that defends their sovereignty? That goes against all those laudable goals. Most of the speech was forward looking, direct, and promoted working together, but this extreme threat on the world stage will be the only thing most people will ever hear or anyone will remember about this speech.
