What an incredible, beautiful family! The parents were happy to help their son accomplish his dream and he in turn shared it completely with them with the most beautiful letter I have ever heard. May God greatly bless all three of you forever and ever.
My coworker worked for years and years three and sometimes four jobs to take care of his kids and put them through college. His youngest of his three kids graduated last year. Since he paid for all their college expenses that were not covered with grants and scholarships they owe no college debt. So they surprised him a few weeks ago when they announced that they had enough money to put him AND his wife through college and take care of them financially for the rest of their lives.

Hearing that his mom wanted to be a teacher is heartbreaking, since teachers (or really anyone deemed smart or creative) were being systematically murdered by Pol Pot in order to keep everyone "equal" for his disgusting utopia.
