I have almost all of these mediums but have never done urban sketching. Thanks to you I'm interested in sketching my environment beyond my little bedroom studio. Thank you for the inspiration. You are a delight to watch. Your videos are very professional and fun. Thank you.
I have the small 12 piece inktense pencils and love them! I never thought about taking them out with me! Your videos are like my Art Coffee! Wakes me up and gets my brain going about colors 😊 Love your videos too much!
I really enjoyed watching this video, especially the length. I learned a lot from the more indepth Gouache video. So I am really looking forward to the others. I would love to see an indepth "regular" watercolour pencil included. InkTense is different. I have not mastered getting layered effects in InkTense, which I have, more so, with "regular" watercolour pencils. What I struggle with is how to devolve and not discover watercolour pencils to the degree I would like with the shape that I am working with. I do better if I do not have a confined space to paint in. I am getting better with practice 😊. Thank you for this series because I am benefiting from it.
I really loved your alcohol marker sketches, especially the first couple of buildings you showed us🧡 Do you have a video showing us how you drew these? 🤔 Like you ~ I would not like the bleeding through the paper either, but I guess you could use these marked pages to paint with gouache or paint your leftover acrylic paints to cover over these marks & make your lovely brush pen sketches over these random acrylic pre-prepared pages!? 😊
This is very intereating Cecile. I love the one with Neocolors. I have some Elegant Writer marker pens. Have you used these? They write black but when water is applied they spread out in blues and reds. Very beautiful. I bet you have some good ideas of how to use these?
Thanks for this!! I am very intrigued by the ink brush pens, as i really likedhow you could get a variety of lines from them. Are they refillable, with Sennelier inks? That would be really cool, as i am cutting down on single use markers and going more into refillable ones. I look forward to the next series!
I do a lot of urban sketching and usually use fineliner and watercolour but I also use the Neocolor 2s, pencils and gouache, I carry the kitchen sink with me 🤣🤣

It's in my to-do list!

Well, I'm using only Inktense, so I can't really tell about other brands of watercolor pencils. Thanks for watching my videos.

Exactly what I'm doing! Painting on the back and drawing on top. Sorry, I haven't filmed the process...
I just started outdoor drawings n micron pens and watercolour is working with me. 😊 Love your video awesome suggestions 😊
Thank you so much 😀
This was a very interesting video. So great to see the examples of each of these. I use a few of these, and especially love the Inktense.
Glad you enjoyed it! Inktense will be the next video in the series.

This is such an interesting video about different materials for creativity! Thank you for sharing it
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great info & demo!
Glad it was helpful!
Great video, love all the mediums, their differences, and their results. Also, beautiful work. More videoes like this one, please :)
More to come!
Thanks Cecile, what is the nib size of your favorite ecco pen for gouache please?
I use 0,1 and 0,5 the most

I try to buy refillable too. Those brushes are refillable, but you will need a pipette to add the ink in the brush.
@@CecileYadro Merci! That is super good to hear. I will look them up.

You're really carrying a lot!!! I'm obsessed with light supplies so I make hard choices every day!
Merci pour toutes ces belles idées! Je suis débutante et j’ai trouvé votre vidéo très inspirant 😊🇲🇶
Merci beaucoup!
Cecile, do you ever use a metal or glass ink pen with your urban sketching? Thank you for a wonderful video!
It's not really portable, as you have to carry the ink to dip inside, so I keep that for the studio.
Can we use linseed oil inside brush pen instead of water and use oil paints? Comment please
I wouldn’t do that!!! you would paint with oil instead of paint. it would grease the paper as well. not a good idea I would say!
Put a piece of paper between pages to prevent ink bleed through.
Well it will not transfer to the other page, but I will stil lhave the back of the page I'm drawin on with ink visible.
found you
