Is TRH Mohaan is in Ramnagar jim corbett national park ? Can I book Room here and how far is this from my picking point for canter safari.
Yes TRH mohaan is located in between Dhangadi Gate (Dhikala Zone) & Durga Devi Zone... it is just 23kms away from the pickup point of the canter safari...but if u choose stay in TRH mohaan which is just 5 kms aways from dhikala zone main gate.. so no need to go canter pickup location u have to reach dhangadi gate only... the the TRH mohaan location is just osm... for location video here is the link ruclips.net/video/ksq7zd1usu4/видео.htmlsi=5mU3_EWItcTCzhuH
If we want to visit morning safari for dhikala zone. There is no gypsy option available? We have to stay at dikhala guest house to have gypsy safari?

Hi, we are visiting on 3rd May for Canter Safari and 4th May Phato Zone Gypsy safari as all other zones bookings are done. So is it worth visiting the phato zone, and only offline booking was available for the phato zone.
Yes dear phanto zone is good for elephant sighting specially...zone is small but quite better as compared with many zonesof corbett... this is around 25 kms aways from main ramanagr city... so try to reach there gate asap... there are 3 or 4 water ponds which increase the sighting of wildlife in summer season.... good luck 👍
Pls keep in mind tiger sighting is very rare in any zones of the corbett it's totally depends on ur luck 😉

But their is one more zone named as "Phanto" which is a buffer zone and their booking process is offline or through agents only... it's rate is also cheaper thn others... but permit availability milne ki surity nai de sakte....try ur luck dear

Yes once the registration process done automatically gyspy alloted for you...afterwards driver contact details shared with you...so u can easily contact with him regarding the pickup location and time

No brother once you have done the permit process...Automatically gypsy will allot to you... the driver will call you up regarding the pickup time and location..

Gd morng brother.... online booking karoge aapto sharing possibility nahi hai... yato agent ke through book karaoge aap to chances hote hai ki vo kisi ke sath aapki bhi I'd lagade but dono tourist agree hone chahiye...else Mai kya karta hu jis bhi zone ki safari mujhe Karni hoti hai Mai entry time se half an hour pahle gate pe pooch jata hu...fir wahi gypsy driver se request karke setting Kara leta hu...but Har baar aisa ho nahi Pata....😐
Sir we are three person. If we book gypsy we have to pay appx. 7000/-. Gypsy can have six persons. we want to share with three more visitors. How it can be done. Is there any way we pay half the gypsy fare.
Hello brother actually it is not possible if u trying to do it by yourself becs at the time of permit registration needs upto 6 adults details at the same time...once the booking process done u r not able to add more persons.... offline permit me ye possible Tha pahle...ek possibility hai agar aap kiss agency ke through book karaye...bcs inke pass queries hoti hai...to vo kisi ke sath share Karwa dete hai...

Dear Skandakumar, First u have to reach Jim corbett information center, Ramnagar which is just 1.6kms away from station. For dhikala zone morning or evening safari pickup starts from here itself. If u have a permit for dhikala zone then no need to worry about reach how to reach Dhikala gate which is 18kms away from the city.

@skandakumar1465 Ok sir, at the ramanagar station there is a waiting room with clean washroom with geyser facility... so waha aap rest or fresh ho sakte hai ... waha se apx 2kms pe ramanagar market hai jo proper open milega... u can get easily an auto rickshaw from station to the main markt... baki jab aaj booking kara lenge to apko alloted gyspy driver ka number mil jayega vo proper apko guide karega... gyspy apko mrkt se hi pickup karegi no need to visit dhikala gate by any public transport.... other option hai ki aap morning me hi ramangar market chale jaye waha pe kais sare guest houses hai baat karke kuch charges pay kar dijieyda aap waha hi aram se relax ho sakte hai... so no need to worry... just keep in touch with the gypsy driver ... gud luck

Hello friend, actually u have to reach ramanagr for any zones safari.... and bijrani zone is the nearest from the ramnagar... and if you plan to visit ur trip from nainital to corbett via kaladhungi road...then sitavani zone is nearest one but is it located under the area of pawalgarh conservation instead of corbett

When i checked another website, there is no process of any permit, they just make u select the dates and members, it's cost is 7500 per gypsee, so is it genuine?

1) Canter is only good for solo travelers bcs It is cheaper then gypsy... (Canter Permit cost for 1 = 1900/- & Gyspy permit cost for either 1 or 6 = 7000/-
2). In Dhikala zone canter is the only opt for day/evening safari
3). If you have a grup thn definitely go with the gypsy opt
4). Gypsy is more convenient for safari, because big groups in Canter are mostly full of unmanageable people, they make shouts every now and then.
* if u have a paying capacity thn definitely go with the gyspy safari only.

Thankyou for you valuable feedback... brother morning safari is always best for better wildlife sighting... there are so many zones in corbett park... but dhikala zone is the best... but only problem in this zone canter safari is the only option for day/evening safari... if u want to take gypsy safari then go with Bijrani zone.... all the best but keep in mind tiger sighting is very rare in corbett park... :)

Or another option is to take canter but in the afternoon... they say its better in the morning during the summer for any chance.
@shrikarmadhu2776 morning safari and gyspy is the best dear ... and jhirna is a good zone also... so go with this.... but tiger sighting in corbett is very rare and totally depends on ur luck... but my good wishes with u to get a good experience in jungle... 🙂
