Ultimate Spider-Man is definitely one of the best superhero video games that I've played. I love the free roaming and comic book aesthetic that it gives out.
I remember buying web of shadows at GameStop and knowing I will never get rid of this game, I love the black costume, and this game portraying it mainly is one of the reasons I absolutely love it. The web swinging mechanic alone had me.
I was literally playing Edge of Time yesterday. And played Friend or Foe a few months back. I'll never forget those games. I used to play Ultimate Spider-man on the ps2 daily. Venom was so sick in that game.

Ultimate Spider-Man is one of Spidey's best games ever (in my humble opinion). Just a shame Activision didn't push its marketing enough, thinking it wasn't going to be that big of a hit (which is strange, considering the Ultimate comics were pretty famous back then and sold really well).
Spiderman web of shadow is the most underrated game that I've ever played on the ps3 like I love the trailer music and I love where you can either use the black suit aka (bully Maguire) or use a regular suit. In that case I always use a black suit due to how OP it was and honestly after I defeated black cat I chose to be her sidekick.

I love Spider-Man Friend of Foe. I didn't get to play it when it 1st released but I eventually got a copy over a decade later and at the time I, a 23 year old, loved it and am still enjoying it as a 24 year old a year later.
Well I didn't forget about any of these Spider-Man games. Except for "Venom/Spider-Man: Separation Anxiety" I didn't even know that game existed before

i hope the insomniac series is gonna put in the other symbiotes in future games with carnage being the final boss. and each symbiote can sorta be a faction of it's own. web of shadows vibe with symbiote gangs

Friend or Foe was the first Spider-Man game I ever played, and I was hoping to see it on this list. I spent so long upgrading everyone fully for absolutely no reason lol
The Sinister Six game is the only one I've never seen. Ultimate Spider-Man was a great game that needs a remaster, because I'd love to play it again, but I don't think my Gamecube works anymore, and my Wii has been acting up for years. Same thing with Friend or Foe. It may not have been the best Spider-Man game out there, but it was very enjoyable. Especially when getting new partners that were all taken from the Sam Raimi trilogy that had ended around that time. Shattered Dimensions was so cool. Having 4 different Spider-Men. Plus they brought back the classic voice actors (Christopher Daniel Barnes will always be my favorite). The story was pretty good too. I just regret never playing Edge of Time, after S.D. Probably today it will be almost impossible to get these games remastered, due to all sorts of legal issues. But, we can only hope.
I love edge of time! I mean the voice acting, and venom? So good! Ultimate Spider-Man was actually my first Spider-Man game, I remember borrowing it for the library all the time in school 😅
Spider-man edge of Time is responsible for all of my nightmares as a 9 Year old. The only reason I ever found out about Ultimate Spider-man is from seeing it in the Rom options for Gamecube files....but when I got to play it (which was recent btw) I played it and got everything in the, I was that dedicated; However the story for that game isn't as good as everybody thinks it is.

Im not everyone i never will forget any spider-man game i played, i still have all the spider-man games minus the older ones really old ones...expect few on other not so old platforms i have mysterio menace but ps1 games and all the way to ps5 ones too, can't wait for marvel spider-man 2!! Its gonna blow records!!
I have a feeling that this is going to be 10 Spider-Man games that nobody forgot. Let's see... Update: Well, to be fair, they did name four games not widely known or remembered. So... good for them.
Most of those games aren't forgotten license issues. Reason why not available on steam. And if you are willing to cough up anywhere from 75 to 200 per game then yea you will be able to get a copy.

I actually think Edge of Time is a better game than Shattered Dimensions. But I do wish they had done more with the cause and effect game mechanic.
