- Welcome to our first tutorial video of this year's 30 Day Uke Challenge! The theme for this year's challenge is Elvis Presley. We are starting with a beautiful song, Can't Help Falling In Love.
If you are a beginner, play 6 down strums per chord. If that feels too challenging, strum on Beats 1 and 4. If you're more advanced, play the fingerpicking pattern: G-C-E-A-E-C
The next tutorial will come in 3 days! Spend today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow practicing this song. When I post the next tutorial, start working on the next song.
The goal of the challenge is to get you to play your ukulele more regularly!

I’ve been playing about 3 months now and just came across this video today. Spent about 30 minutes with it and wow I really am playing this song now and it doesn’t sound half bad! I also learned a new chord in the process! Never stop what you’re doing! The pure joy of being able to play something you have taught us is so gratifying. I can hardly wait for my wife to get home to play her this song and wow her with it!

Today: I did day 2... the fingerpicking was clumsier today than yesterday, but I've never tried before...
Last night: I did day 1!!! ... almost midnight, but I went from overwhelm, my fingers are cramping, this is too fast.... to oh, look at the play along AND the little music player with the great metronome, and oh i will play very slow, I tried the finger picking twice, really slow & beginner, but TWICE!! And by the end of day 1, I'm remembering: slow it down, do it again and again, what note is coming next !!! I had a great 30 minutes practice!! Thanks from Florida, Etana

Hello and thank you for your content. I tuned my ukulele but my g-string sounds a lot higher than yours and doesn't sound right for this song but ok for others when I am strumming. when I tune it to a lower g it sounds way too low. Do you have any advice?

The only part that was challenging to me was the B7... I have a hard time with the bar chords... Even tho I was pretty good with bar chords on the guitar. Go figure
