Thank you Paul for another wonderful art stream it’s amazing how you make it come together by mixing the values first , I love the colours on the plums. You add so much life to your paintings. I really appreciate all that you do and it takes so much courage to paint live you are an amazing artist and person. We all need to have time away from the noise (people) to decompress , recharge and relax. I struggle with anxiety and depression and rely on art to escape but I unfortunately I haven’t been able to make art for a while due to being depressed 😔 but your streams bring me joy and hope about doing art again one day. Greatly appreciate your time. Betty
You were missed Paul.I too struggle to be around people all the time.Chronic depression.I’d be lost without my painting.I recently heard you say the quinacridone colour’s were being discontinued,I also seen some article’s which said the same.Yet Michael Harding has released a new quinacridone violet.I’m confused? Also have you tried rosemary’s mundy mop? They are fantastic brushe’s for blending.
Yes I wonder if they are linked. I've suffered from depression myself too and it is no joke. Regarding quinachridone pigments, I don't know what the situation is but I just got a tube so it's still available for now. I'll look out for that brush, thanks!
Beautiful! First time I have watched you paint. Do you not use medium? Assuming your color mixing is so right on, your first l layers seem thick......or just thinner from brush? Thanks
Ah, you will have had a welcome email when you joined the school - I don't have the community on FB any more, it's a private community on my own platform. Please drop me an email and I'll send you the invite link. I post all the reference photos and materials lists there before the live sessions, and you can also see all the past ones.

Why do you put a layer of linseed oil with solvent over the primer? Interested in your process, thanks for this expert advice!
Because it allows the paint to flow onto the panel more smoothly, and makes blending and edge handling much easier.
@@PaulFoxton thanks - I noticed the nice flow of your paint - trying that tomorrow!
❤
Hi Paul, how I can get the reference photo? I am part of the Online school but never got access to the FB group 😔
